  1. I've heard it is a bit of a mess with serious stuff clashing with sillynes. Also having love in the title and ex partners meeting seem to bode romance. For those who've seen it, what did you think?
  2. Fun! The first one I got inconclusive though because it said I skipped too much. I think I only skipped two. I'm gonna go ahead with the other ones. Aromantic representation: Appearance Headcanon Fodder Tarot Pentacles Keywords : Stability, safety, money, nature, , health, long term, home. You don't know where being aro will lead you, but you own it and make the best of your life anyway. You seek a peaceful future, and I swear to you that you will get it eventually. Aromantic flag: Frayromantic You're calm, cool, and collected, and perhaps on the shyer side. You might see Elsa as an aro icon. I don't think I've ever felt frayromantic but sometimes I contemplate the label fraysexual. I don't really find micro labels all that useful though.
  3. That's good. If anyone want to hear example of a contra you can listen to this one. https://sv.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fil:Gunnar_Hallhagen_spelar_på_Kirckman-cembalon_-_SMV_-_MMG7_0045.wav It's the song that was played at the mascerade when the swedish king Gustav III was killed in 1792.
  4. Zootopia. When I was a child my favorite was 101 dalmatians. I've never seen tangled.
  5. Thanks for sharing your story. I appreciate it. It's not your fault how you feel. Just as it's not her fault if she has romantic feelings for you. We can't control the absence or presence of romantic love. I've seen many aros wonder if they're just "selfish" or "asholes". Only you can decide if the aro label fit you though.
  6. Haha I love it. It can be our avatar. From what I've heard cities remove locks from bridges because if too many people put the locks on some the combined weight will be too much strain on it.
  7. I would consider it a perk. The downside is peoples reaction like you said. But the upside peace of mind from certain longing.
  8. You could start by talking to your friend in general about aromanticism or asexuality and see if she reacts. For example talk about a character in a TV show that you consider aromantic and ask if she agrees they might be.
  9. Yeah it was an interesting way to see how aromanticism can mix with other labels. Solo also has an episode specifically about RA also which I found interesting.
  10. Interesting. I don't think this would happen in my country since many couples aren't married here.
  11. I would marry a close friend if they needed it to stay in the country. Otherwise not. I don't like coupling.
  12. The solo podcast did an episode of this with a guest who've researched the one sided gift giving. https://poddtoppen.se/podcast/1493565823/solo-the-single-persons-guide-to-a-remarkable-life/singles-as-exhausted-gift-givers
  13. That's not a problem for me since English is not my native language
  14. I've also listened to it now. I liked it too and I'm glad that he had an aro episode since like he said solos are probably more likely to be aromantic.
  15. I just saw the solo podcast has released an episode about aromanticism. I've not listened yet but I'm very happy Peter McGraw is bringing it up. He had a previous episode about asexuality which briefly mentioned aromanticism but I'm glad it's now getting it's own episode.
  16. I've never heard anyone use numbers to rate someones look in real life. But it does seem like it happens from time to time irl, not just in pop culture. It is interesting how sexual attraction goes together with aesthetic but like you say people don't care about it as much in other kinds of relationships. But I do think it still has some effect. It's probably easier for someone good looking to make friends.
  17. Even if you don't feel attraction you can still enjoy romantic or sexual acts. It's just you don't feel attraction to do them with a specific person. Kinda like an asexual person could still enjoy the act of sex because of the physical sensation. They just don't feel sexually attracted to the person.
  18. Tuba is a brass instrument so that's already covered. I'm trying to think of big non brass instruments but all I can think about now is piano which I don't think is ours.
  19. Today my romantic orientation actually came up (I think the guy asking wants to date me). I told him I don't date and that I'm happy solo. Later I mentioned aromanticism of hand but I don't know if he knows what it means, he didn't ask about it it commented on the term specifically.
  20. Yeah I get what you mean. I totally agree that street racing with cars is much worse. I commented on this because I realized that I didn't think about it at all when I watched the movie. The way she says "excuse me" when she runs right through those cafe tables as if she's just causing some mild inconvenience. Anyways sorry for going kind off topic 😃
  21. Now that I think about it that's such a shitty activity. Running on the sidewalk etc. You can kill someone if you hit them with a bike at high speed.
  22. @Ikarusto me masturbation is just a physical activity. I wasted so much time thinking I needed some external input like porn or sexy thoughts. That just distracts from the body sensations.
