leaderboard is reputation points which is likes (green heart, haha, thanks etc) not posts sorry but the names invision uses are stupid and i cant find out how to change them or if i even can. points (which yeah, are from any comment) are not the same as reputation points 🥴. If it said 1st 14 likes or whatever i would be so much happier you are looking at daily reputation which only counts reputation on that day so on sept 27th there, the most likes given that day was for sevan who got 14 likes there should be an option to show most likes for the past month, year or all time

I've recently been having a look at this funny thing in US law called in rem jurisdiction. which just throws out some of the silliest sounding names i have heard. because in the US cases are described as a v b (i'm used to a and b) it always sounded like a fight to me, and in rem makes that really stupid because the case is bought against the item, rather than the presumed owner. so you end up with things like South Dakota v. Fifteen Impounded Cats United States v. 11 1/4 Dozen Packages of Articles Labeled in Part Mrs. Moffat's Shoo-Fly Powders for Drunkenness, or United States v. Article Consisting of 50,000 Cardboard Boxes More or Less, Each Containing One Pair of Clacker Balls or my new favourite Quantity of Books v. Kansas which the books won.

ok, by the end of the first month we have 55 posts in 8 topics. while some of that is forum wrangling i started i think that is pretty good. i know it will never be as big as aro discussion or pride and culture but i am going to call it, this has worked far better than i had expected, i'll leave it up.

ok, i like this, im wondering if the aro religion had a sort of modern mellowing where a lot of the fire and brimstone died down. this is great, but i think i'm personally going to settle down as a rather lapsed member of the aro religion.

arocalypse badge could be done, i can see how to manually award a badge to a particular member, not sure if we should though. i have no idea who even has the details to get into that account, it was well before my time here. as for other no longer active accounts, i don't know how i'd do that beyond manual awarding which i cant be arsed to do given the number of accounts. its a nice idea but nothing i can see when it comes to options would allow that unfortunately. there might be some other way to show when someone last posted/went online than on their member page which i could have a look at.

yes, @Nix is right, this is how it works (although the about me section is more noticeable on desktop just due to page layout, it is public and fairly noticeable) i've picked a random user to show you what i mean. so it is there, its just the way the pages are currently tiled it is hidden. i make no claim that this is the best way though, its just been this way since well before i turned up. i suppose it is a matter of visibility in the space vs how much you can write. i could probably work out how to put about me in the left sidebar, say under personal information. the upside of that is it would be more easy to find and view, the downside is that you then have less room to write before it starts looking silly just because of fitting the text in that space. with this setup when about me is opened, you basically have a full page to express whatever you want about yourself (within reason), but its less visible especially on mobile

I think you are right. what i can do though is hide that symbol for mods and use the mod icon underneath the word moderator, but resize that to ~ the size of the shield icon so it doesn't look silly cant seem to do anything for the newbie symbol though. may be hard coded but i could probably hide that too even though i couldnt add a new frog hand.

There is a new forum post in welcome and forum rules explaining the basics of points, badges, posts etc. Is there anything you think i should add? thanks to @Storm_leopardcatfor the idea. I think it is a good one to have one place where common things about the forum can be found, so i want to expand that idea somewhat with other basic info.
