I enjoy watching Ted's growth this season. Like when he called out Roy for his bad behavior rather than just ignore it and hope it would go away.

I made some videos with collections of aro scenes a while back. Not all of the characters are aro but most of them are at least plausible headcannons.

I think overtime you will meet people who value friendship as much as romance if you search for it. But now your options are limited. Maybe you could make some additional friend who's not interested in dating right now.

I've not tried this. Two of my friends tried it and one really liked it but the other one thought it meaningless. If you're interested in one maybe see if you can borrow one to try first.

For a while I was kinda longing for someone to hug me in the night, even though I knew in real life I've never enjoyed sleeping next to someone. My solution was to imagine someone hugging me, if I really think about the sensation in my mind it feels good. In the same way I sometimes imagine rubbing my own arms because it calms me, I don't have to actually rub them, just the imagination has an effect. So my advice to you is too try out pretending someone is hugging you. Really imagine the sensation as vividly as you can and embrace it.

There are other kinds of attraction than romantic or sexual. Such as aesthetic.

After watching the first episode I realized that it's only one out. I liked it! At first it felt slow but I enjoyed the conflict it had set up by the end of it. Keeley and Roy shippers wont be happy. I expect they will be back to it not before long though.

It seems like there's two episodes out already! At least that's how it looks on the website. I've not watched any yet but I suppose any episode released is fair game to post about in this thread so I'll stay away from it until tomorrow when I'll have had time to watch them.

As I promised @Keithheres a Ted Lasso season three thread. I'm thinking we can post random aro reflections about the show here. Season three has premiere on Wednesday. I've not watched any of the trailers because I don't want to know anything beforehand. I'm very excited but also nervous to be let down by too high expectations. The show has so many characters and now for season three they seem to be more spread out then before. Nate and Keeley are the two characters who I feel their story is most up in the air and they're both away somewhat from the main cast. I hope that they will still have some way for them to interact with the rest of the cast.

Another great solo episode I listened to recently was about emotional intelligence. It doesn't have anything to do about aro, I just found it very interesting. The guest talked about what emotional intelligence is and what advantages and disadvantages it has to have a high degree of it. They also talked about the seemingly general social idea that single people have lower emotional intelligence.

Listing to recap podcasts. Whenever I read or watch something I want to listen to a podcast which discusses it. Right now I'm listening to Ted lasso podcasts because I'm very excited for season three. I already listened to the most popular ones before so now I'm going through some that are not as good just cause it's fun to get new takes.

I feel familial and platonic love and I feel compassion for others and gratitude to them. I've never experienced anything similar to romantic love. I kinda feel sexual attraction in that I feel aroused by people occasionally but I don't really feel interest to do anything sexual with them. I'm very sex favorable though, I like seeing sexual scenes on TV and enjoy hearing peoples sexual experiences.

Aha! So french do love romance like we always say! Just kidding, that must be very annoying. I imagine many people must feel bad about this even if they're allo. What if you don't want a romantic relationship or you do want it but you don't feel anyone would consider you.
