aussiekirkland
@brsajo insisted I do an introduction, and that 3 days and 10 posts later wasn't too late. I'll do it in dotpoint form so I don't ramble (I love rambling) - the name's Dee, I'm almost 19 and currently studying jazz at uni with @brsajo - I live in Perth Australia - I'm aro ace, and I've been plodding around the community for just over a year now - I love giving aro ace advice on my tumblr by the same name I think that's all. I'm really enjoying Arocalypse so far!

omitef
@aussiekirkland Yup. Ice cream is the aro cake. The irony is that ice cream is often eaten after a breakup...
aussiekirkland
@omitef that is hilariously ironic and I love it (also because ice cream is my favourite desert)

Thanks to you both for coming!

Thanks to you both for coming! I know what you mean. Music students at school tended to be very relationship orientated (both of my relationships were with music students lmao) but at uni it's just about the music and it's really nice
paporomantic
I guess there's enough science at uni to keep their minds occupied Also, they might have learned to channel their sexual / romantic energy into creativity, which they weren't good at when they were at school. I think music is actually less relationship-oriented than sports, especially dancing and figure skating where partners have to spend a lot of time together with a lot of touch involved. It's hard for a romantic person not to fall in love under such extreme conditions

Thanks to you both for coming! I think you'll find that we are both extremely nerdy You should have seen us in Jazz history when our lecturer mentioned "Mario Bowser"! Also, thanks! This place is absolutely wonderful (with a community to match)!
