Oh I’m definitely six, just add video games, drawing, animation, listening to music, and laughing like crazy in the dumbest possible conversation with friends. XD

I never understood why that was everything to people of whenever the main character of a movie lost it whenever they were broken up with. I mean don’t they have more to live for than… exchanging spit? I mean I’m far from calling that a bad thing I just don’t understand it. Like I generally viewed relationships as a social tool for reproduction and emotional connection. I never knew that the main goals for people were to kiss or have s*x, that’s not the reason I’d ever be in one. Ikr! I mean I forget my birthday is coming up sometimes, how am I supposed to remember that crap?! No thanks, I’m good. Oh neither can I, their reasoning is dumb, I mean this person isn’t often a horrible person, they’re just done dating. That doesn’t mean you can’t be friends right? I mean that just feels… mean not to at least stay friends. And then after the breakup people are crying their eyes out everytime they visit a place where they were a couple. Is it THAT strong for people? I know right! I mean that’s a rather wreck less move, he can’t just say that without seeing people look at him weird. I mean the thing is that in some ways it is true but dang, he volunteered for that, it’s his fault too.

It would be cool though, if all aro’s were connected via hivemind and we could give advice constantly. That’d be AWESOME.

I mean I might be aro-spec but most orientations seem to have a partial understanding of things. The aesthetic of a relationship sounds nice but I’d never seek that out or have any interest in someone if they showed interest. I mean I’ve never felt romantic attraction but I think that o might be aro-spec or something, only time will tell.

I could mostly agree on that, generally if someone wants to kiss that’s different than actual attraction, though labeling it as romantic or not is sorta what defines it mostly.

So it’s not romance? And even then I never once thought “yeah I wanna take this person out to dinner”. I just view people like paintings, I’ll look back occasionally but not much else.

Oh yeah, I’m willing to bet that the actual number is probably a lot higher than most think. It’s all just guesses, and most people’s feelings are fluid so we’d never be able to be sure until education became incredibly common.

I mean when I really try to think of a logical reason why someone would want to date off of looks, I can’t find anything. It’s just stupidity. I mean I can feel aesthetic attraction but it’s often weak.

The overall amount of people who’re aro or ace at ages 18-24 are 4%. Assuming that 75% of them are right, it’d be about 3% and 20% of that (thats about the number of aro’s who are ace and vice versa) it’s about .6%. This could be grossly wrong but I doubt that it’s incredibly low.

I honestly don’t know, it’s kinda funny that people do that but also it’s kinda a bad idea. Maybe because… wow I can’t think of anything. I legitimately don’t know.

Oh yeah, I’m just guessing to see how close I get though. Peoples descriptions online make me realize that I definitely haven’t felt that.

I mean the whole thing was always just what I considered to be a bunch of weird and dramatic additions to a friendship. Those partners kiss, get possessive, and more emotionally close. I just don’t like the idea of a lot of that. Like when I imagine a friendship between people and then I add in all the stuff for a romantic relationship, it just looks more restrictive than before, because now they’re nuance and drama and other bull crap. Oh yeah, and kissing sounds disgusting, I’ve never looked at someone with the sole intention to kiss, that’s just so weird. I mean I’d possibly be okay with cuddling with friends but like they’re family in a way, nothing more.

Maybe just like some aroace podcast online where we can talk about our own experiences and stuff, I generally talk a lot but oh boy would listening to myself talk suck. XD Mostly though I’d just love to talk to other aro’s and ace’s in an online chat while playing games, maybe making some pride stuff in those games. You know that just sounds really fun. :D
