  1. I currently identify with as aroace, however, I've noticed for a while that I do enjoy reading and watching romance related media. For example, I do have a tendency to watch romance anime, may it be BG or GL. I've watched a lot of GL/yuri anime, manga and novels in the past few month. Above that, I sometimes do wish to have a somewhat romantic relationship like those in the stories, but I don't have a particular character of irl person in mind as the 'dating candidate'. Am I still aromatic? or am I a grey romantic?
  2. im someone who is big into immortality and stuff, and at 13 I was really digging the idea of being able to be immortal after joining the hunters of Artemis. one thing that scared me the most about being aroace is not getting married and having children. It's not that I like children or anything (I actually find really young kids scary), but the thought of my linage ending because of me was kinda scary and made me feel guilty. I'm the only child in two generations so there were a lot of pressure put onto me. So 13 years old me came up with the idea of immortality. lol
  3. So how do one get into the community? I know the queer kids in my school, but I don't exactly fit in with them tbh. I get a chance to meet a lot of new people next august, and I'm wondering how I could get into the more aroace community?
  4. When I was 12 reading Percy Jackson, I always wondered why everyone have to be paired up. At that time I thought I like the hunters of Artemis better, and I wished with all my 12 year old heart that something like the hunters of Artemis exist in real life. When I was 13 I remember I would stay awake at night worrying about having the marry someone. I was extremely scared of the thought of having to marry someone, or date anyone in general.
  5. Happy Pride folks! So, what are the chances of meeting another AroAce person in real life? I know the approximate percentage of Ace population is 1 out of 100, and among those 1 out of 4 are aro. So theoretically there is 1 out of every 400 people. The chances are small, so is it really possible to meet an Aro Ace in real life? Have anyone met one in the wild before?
