  1. It makes no sense to me if perioriented heteros 'were born' and others are seen as 'they became'. I even remember being repulsed by romance and things connected to it when I was very young, then not being able to say if I was attracted romantically or platonically to someone, so there's no way of me 'becoming' aromantic. I was born aro.
  2. It can seem weird, but Hidan and Shikamaru Nara are both my comfort characters. I've returned into my very old special interest just because of Hidan and I started creating cosplay of him. Because I like them, I headcanon both as arospec.
  3. No. First of all, I'm sure I wouldn't be a good parent and other thing it's easy for me to be overstimulated.
  4. I use: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube, Discord, sameQuizy (it's a Polish site) and Instagram. I was also using Ask, but now I find it really boring.
  5. There's no Mundial for Palmeiras.

  6. I had a fidget spinner but it broke several months after it arrived. Now as a ft I'm using a necklace, which I bought to make Hidan's cosplay.
  7. 'Asperger's syndrome' is a harmful, ableist thing and is no more in the use. It was used to categorize autistic persons as 'worse' and 'better' ('low-' and 'highfunctioning' labels are harmful in the same way), also it has direct connection to a very bad person. Autistic persons see and interpretate things in other way than allistics and the chance that an autistic person is also arospec or in other LGBTQ+ part is higher. Personally I know more neurodivergent persons who are LGBTQ+ than neurodivergent cishet and there are also some who are both autistic and arospec. I'm myself both autistic and aromantic. If your friend is interested in reading about aromanticism, I recommend to show him the AUREA's site. If he's uninterested, there's no sense to continue the conversation about it.
  8. It's better to say 'aros can be of any sexual orientation and part even don't use this label' than 'not aros are aces'.
  9. Hidan and Shikamaru are my arospec headcanons, because why not.

  10. Yeah, it's difficult to find informations when doing research for the first time. Arospecs are forgotten and when we're talking about varioriented arospecs it becomes more difficult to find something.
  11. After I wrote a story with an aromantic character in it, I started to doubt if I'm alloro because almost everything seemed to be so close to me.
  12. This one during pride month doesn't count. People usually even don't pay attention for it. I'm talking about other thing. Like, there's AAW and two other days marked in different months, so why don't mark some dates for aro pride/visibility?
  13. Connections between neurodivergency and being aro. Why aromanticism isn't opposition for 'hopeless romantic' (orientation can't be opposition to a trait). What is SAM and that there are aros who don't use it (personally I've already had situation when sb tried to force me to use 'asexual' term while I don't identify with it). Why the narration 'they were bad but they found a partner and it turned them good' is harmful for arospec.
  14. Shikamaru Nara. He's a cool neurodivergent and arospec headcanon at once and I find it sad that the author gave him a partner even if the character from beginning wasn't showing any romantic interests in others. Compulsive amatonormativity. Kawaki – he just seems to be strictly aromantic and repulsed by romance in general. When he heard about one character being in love with him, he wasn't happy about it. He was just like: "romance? Love? Ewww, leave me in peace".
  15. The most visible parts of LGBTQ+ community celebrate their visibility or have their awareness weeks/months even a few times in a year (including or not, the national visibility/awareness celebrations, too). What do you think about to pick a day to make it an aromantic visibility (or pride) day? I'm thinking of 8 of August because this number (8) looks like a 'turned' infinite symbol which can be interpreted as a symbol of aromantic spectrum. In my opinion, an ASVD would help to raise awareness of arospec persons existence because it makes people to think, remember 'there's something on this day', even if in the beginning would be a few persons outside the arospec community who remember it.
  16. It's possible to be a varioriented person. It means your orientations don't 'match', like aromantic bisexual, panplatonic aromantic and other things like that. Also, alloaros are forgotten outside the aromantic spaces.
  17. 'Valentine's Day' is nothing more and nothing less than capitalistic thing. In my opinion it's just about spending your money to make the corporations richer.
  18. Polish: aromantic (orientation) – aromantyczność aromantic (person/adjective) – aromantyczny (masculine), aromantyczna (feminine), aromantyczne (neuter and plural non-masculine) Portuguese: aromantic (orientation) – arromanticidade aromantic (person/adjective) – arromântico (masculine), arromântica (feminine), arromântique ('neo'-neuter)
  19. That's true, unfortunately. We have to do everything of our own, a few groups and organisations remember about us. In the place where I live, they invite aces to make an interview, write articles and aros seem to don't exist for them. The only one interview focused in 100% on aromanticism that I remember was done with me (in the beginning of my aro activitism and I made some mistakes while responding, so after it I made correction on my own profile). Also, the problem is much bigger, we can notice it for example when they're talking about asexuality and they use 'aspec' instead of 'acespec' which literally erases our existence.
  20. They say 'you can be whathever you want'. So I became Hidan /j

  21. Hi! Of course you can call yourself aromantic. Being aro doesn't mean you have to be a romance negative, romance repulsed and hate story with romantic plot, there's no 'have to'. It's just a stereotype, there's a lot of diversity in the aro spectrum. For example, I'm a romance ambivalent aro and I like to read and write stories with my fav ship.
  22. To have permission by signature on a simple document to receive information about health of other person.
  23. I was wearing, then I stopped, then I was wearing it again and I stopped totally. I chose wrong size and I'm this lazy to buy new one that I even didn't try to find any auction XD
  24. Of course it's possible. Aromanticism is a spectrum itself, also when we're talking about romance-coded interactions like kissing, holding hands and et cetera. As aro person you can like all, a few or be totally repulsed by them. It's even mentioned in FAQ on the AUREA's site. You don't need to worry.
  25. I'd describe it as: 'I don't care'. Because the fact I don't experience romantic attraction has more influence on my life more than other types of it.
