  1. It's okay to inform people about using another name than you were using before. Think about your own comfort. Here you can check a base of 200+ gender neutral names – don't look on the "popularity" part because it's connected to the base of PESEL. Talking about how I found my name… it's very weird story because I literally took it from a random Brazilian football player, lol. I just changed the -i ending to -y.
  2. Type of aro: Loveless aro Aro representation: Non-human Arcana: Swords Flag: Frayromantic
  3. I was talking about it in another place and yep, it's alienating and not only for aros but also the persons who are part of the LGBTQ+ community but not because of orientation. Also, the phrase even doesn't describe why for real the community was created. How do you want to fight for equality if the only word you know to say is "love"?
  4. Before I stopped playing, you could just to deny something or lock but if I remember it well, there were desires that you simply couldn't ignore and it was so annoying because it was still appearing back after denying to realize them.

    Hobbies

Playing video games (at this moment FootballTeamGame and I'm thinking about to back to The Sims), foreign languages (I speak two foreign languages – Portuguese and English, and I'm learning Japanese), Japenese and Brazilian cultures, cosplay (I almost finished my Hidan's cosplay and I'm going to start completing Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki's costume), Brazilian football, anime/manga, roleplaying, drawing and writing.
  6. It's still very simplified (because of both being a spectrum), but better this way. I had enough of seeing the comments from alloallo people saying "you can just imagine they're aro or ace!!!". Like, no, it's totally different thing and breaks the immersion if you have to still think about it instead of making it real. Also, it's like, you want to watch something in the language you're learning and the subtitles are from different series/movie (sorry if my comparision makes no sense).
  7. I'm so disappointed with the quantity of unnecessary het romance in the "Boruto" anime. They should finally do something about the Ōtsutsuki clan in canons, there's a big potential in them and seems it is going to be wasted as the characters themselves.

  8. As a person who is disconnected from the sexuality spectrum, I disagree.
  9. It should depend of a country. I think most of people here know the situation in Poland, where I live.
  10. I started to write a fanfic about Urashiki being non-romantically fascinated about Momoshiki and it's a really great thing to write about. He is friends with Momoshiki and he thinks Momo is the most beautiful creature in the whole universe. And there's nothing romantic in it. Urashiki just looks on Momoshiki and thinks: 'aw, Momo-chan* is so beautiful'. Urashiki doesn't want to kiss Momoshiki. Ura just want to spend time with and look at Momo.

*in the anime, Urashiki was addressing Momoshiki as 'Momo-chan' when he wasn't around and I find it a cute thing to add in the story in non-romantic or sarcastic way.

  11. Which part of Europe? I've never seen it where I live. I wouldn't fill the 'sexual orientation' part or I'd add 'no sexual orientation, I'm aromantic' or something like this.
  12. At this moment it's Hidan, my favorite character from 'Naruto'. He was a missing-nin from Yugakure, his specialization in the battle were taijutsu and weapons. He's very underestimated by fandom.
  13. Mine is just my chosen name which I'm using frequently.
  14. My earliest memories are literally about being repulsed by romance in media in general. Now, as an adult, I don't mind when romance is optional, but it's always annoying to me when it's an 'important' part of them when I receive other thing in description of the game.

    Art Thread

I was trying to draw Momoshiki Otsutsuki.
  16. There's no 'aroace privilege' and saying that aroaces are privileged is aphobic. The only thing is visibility – aroaces are more visible than other arospec persons and it doesn't make them privileged. Also, the experience of discrimination never will be the same for all parts of LGBTQ+ community, for example: cis gay never will experience transphobia, so they have to stop marginalizing the discrimination against A-spec community. If they don't experience something doesn't mean that this kind of discrimination is 'less discrimination'.
  17. No, I didn't. I have the same way of thinking about romance in fiction as I had before realizing I'm aro. Ok, I'm a shipper but I really don't enjoy when there is lot of romance in canon. I always preferred when plot has something more to show than it.
  18. Tbh, nothing special. I've made some posts linked to aromanticism and had to debunk one more time the 'popular' in my country wrong definition of it. It's really boring to have to repeat the same thing so much times and persons seem to don't understand it because they don't pay attention to aromantic persons writing about aromanticism but psychologist who wrote wrong definition on his blog, completely don't understanding the subject.
  19. That's why we need to speak louder about being aromantic and debunk myths.
