so i just realized I've never actually introduced myself on here, even though I've been here for over a year hello! I'm glypharia, but you can call me glyph, I'm fine with any pronouns and i'm aroace. I realized I was aromantic in early 2021 I'm currently in high school, specifically in an IB program which, yes, is slowly killing me (ib thriving haha). i like video games like Splatoon, Night in the Woods, and Firewatch, and I like to write poems and stories so yeah there's my (very late) intro :D

I'm reading Gearbreakers by Zoe Hana Mikuta at the moment. It's a sci-fi book about colossal mechas, a tyrannical regime, and two girls (they are gay) on the opposite side of a war. Generally, I like sci-fi and dystopian/apocalpytic books where it really makes you think about the world. One of my favorites in this genre are the books within the Arc of a Scythe.

i spend the day and hanging out with friends if i can. but getting candy or flowers, even from a friend, is nice

the campaign's taking place in modern new york, but it's a bit different with the introduction of magic and such. currently, my players are a fighter, a bard, and i'm still waiting on the other two to get back to me. i can help you learn how to play if you want! we could probably even set up some sort of Arocalypse D&D event or something

do you have any "traditions" you do on valentines? for me, every year on valentines i write some "loveless sonnets" or sonnets without the whole lovey-dovey aspect in them. just for the irony.

i like simple touch among some really close friends of mine. like simple, unconscious, tiny touches or movements. like a friend leaning their head on my shoulder cause they're tired, or a stupid little handshake thing that some of my friends all do together. its just the small things that I like a lot. hugs are alright. kinda awkward but i don't mind them.
