I know of this in relation to therianthropy. Like, in my case I sometimes feel like a phantom tail and phantom ears. Shifting in therianthropy is when you feel stuff related to your animal self.

Some sound like OCD, and others remind me of my autism.

hi the only people on earth who understand me
Collie replied to dordor's topic in Welcome And Forum Rules
Welcome! -
The girl here (Ari) has a dedicated fan club and has a ton of guys who want to date her, but she is secretly aromantic. Was going to write a novel, but decided it's probably more up my alley to write short comic strips and make it into a book of them eventually. Lucky Star style. Here's one comic strip I've completed so far!

why do all my friendships just fade away
Collie replied to dordor's topic in Aromantic Relationships
Sadly it's very normal for friendships to fade, especially when romance gets into the picture. It sucks and I wish people placed friendships on a higher priority. -
Is this behavior normal for alloromantics?
Collie replied to Firebird's topic in Sexuality and Gender
That all sounds very strange and not normal -
Not Tourette's, but I do have minor tics. I've noticed that they seem to act up more during times of lots of stress

Only you can determine what you are. You certainly could be aromantic! Aroallos (aromantic allosexuals) certainly exist. So aromanticism can either be defined by not experiencing romantic attraction, or not having romantic desire. Or both. Romantic attraction would be like.... crushes and stuff, or having romantic feelings when in a relationship. The desire would be more like the desire to have a romantic relationship. Some aros define themselves on one or the other. Desire without (romantic) attraction is referred to as cupioromantic, and romantic attraction without romantic desire is referred to as lithromantic. And of course, some aros have neither.

Also an aro lesbian! Hi!

Why do you feel like you need a boyfriend because someone else does? Do you feel like you're missing out? Or do you just want to know what it's like? Or do you maybe want just someone in your life who you can be close with? Have you considered a QPR (queerplatonic relationship)? A QPR is a committed relationship that seems closer than regular friends, but is not defined as romantic by those in it.

I experience that at walmart, too many people around and I swear I can hear everything every single one of them is saying. That and the other ambient noises make me get close to meltdown. I don't seem to experience speech loss episodes though. edit: I do experience partial speech loss when I do go into meltdown actually, so I take that back

Sensory issues suck ass. There are days I can't even feel good in a dark room with as little noise as possible, because I can feel the chair pressing against my back too much or something.
-
I have heard of people experiencing sexual or romantic attraction only for people who can never love them back, such as celebrities. Or even fictional characters

Aromantic Spectrum Visibility Day
Collie replied to hemogoblin's topic in Visibility, Articles, and Meetups
I saw that there was a day for it earlier in the month, but completely forgot on the actual day! 😱 -
How can I kindly friendzone someone?
Collie replied to The Aro Mando Echo's topic in Aromantic Relationships
That's always tough. If I've suspected that someone likes me romantically, I typically wait until they tell me. Which has happened a couple times, only once irl. That time, I didn't tell the person I was aro directly, just said I'm not interested in anyone. It was very awkward for weeks afterwards, I don't think there's any easy way to approach these things. -
Is there any real benefit of telling people I’m aro?
Collie replied to bluster kong's topic in Aromantic Pride and Culture
Do you want to? Do you feel safe to? Those are the main things. For me, it's mainly just a facet of myself. It's good for explaining myself if need be. Other times it may just be an interesting bit of trivia. -
This just unlocked a memory from like pre-2010's era internet where my dad gave me a floppy disk of funny pictures or something. This must be an old pic

I'd rather eat a rock then date or marry

Maybe you might be in the grey area, but if you don't care about giving it a try to find out, then I wouldn't.

You might be aro if you say you "ship" a pairing but when you see art of them doing romantic things you're like "hmm, don't like that"
