  1. Okay, so there are six main types of attractions (some say seven). And they are divided into two types: Physical and Emotional attractions. Physical attractions are sexual attraction, sensual attraction, and aesthetic attraction. Emotional attractions are platonic attraction, romantic attraction, and alterous attraction. There are also different terms or words for each attraction, like how crush is used for someone you are romantically attracted towards, there is squish for a person you are platonically attracted to. Also, an attraction is different from your favourability towards an action associated with said-attraction. Both of these are also different from the positivity of said action attributed with said attraction. It is also possible for someone to lack any one type of attraction, or experience it differently from other attractions (say, being gray-homo-romantic, and demi-aegosensual, and being panaesthetic). It is also possible for someone to lack all of these attractions, or experience little of them. Alterous attraction is a sort of attraction involving attraction to someone which is not platonic or romantic, kind of like non-binary, but for attractions, as I saw someone put it. https://www.lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/Alterous_Attraction I hope I am not being too confusing, and I hope that it helps! Give me feedback on this, please, and tell me if it needs improvement.
  2. Can you describe your experiences of them? How do you know you experience both these attractions? Also, thank you for replying. I appreciate it!
  3. Or orchidromantic? Do you experience platonic attraction and alterous attraction? I mean this question for @I am a schwa. But you could answer too, @Fandom Fanatic!
  4. Ah, titles do not show up properly, for some reason. Like above the author of the post’s name, there is not title of the post visible. And the follow/share button are smaller, and overlapping each other. I think that’s a great idea! What would a less saturated green look like?
  5. When there are new/unread notifications, you know how the title is bold in white, so it looks different from the older/read notifications? It's kind of hard to differentiate between them in this new dark mode. It otherwise looks great! Great work, Roboticanary! I love it, and it's a serious improvement over the other drakmode, no offense to the people who created it (that includes you, right?)! I like how a darh shade of green was used in the background! How does this dark mode compare to the one on AVEN, by the way? Not to drag AVEN into this forum, and always make comparisons, but I'm a little curious about this.
  6. Huh, so if you're aesthetically attracted to someone, you want to have s** with them? Or have a swish on them? (term for aesthetic attraction, analogous to crush)
  7. The word for crush, but analogous to sexual attraction, would be a smush.
  8. Have you tried aegoromantic? https://www.aromanticism.org/en/identity-terms#:~:text=Aegoromantic %2F Autochorisromantic,Bogaert (original%2C archived). https://www.lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/Aegoromantic
  9. Oh, okay, sounds cool! It's just a fantasy series about feral cats (cats who are not pets or live in the wild). And they are divided into a few different clans. True, true. I would have loved the concept of the main plot, though, as a kid! I loved cats, and still do! Same sentiment as what? So she knows you're aro, that's why she thought you wouldn't want to watch it (supposedly because it has depictions of romance?)? Or what? Hmm, so she did let you go to your room and let you use your computer without saying anything about it? Hmm, seems you were right, she is a furry. Did you mean platonic and sensual (not sexual as you wrote) attraction? Oh, Janus the fox. Seems familiar, will look him up. Thank you! Do you have an art account? Or somewhere you post art? Any social media I could check you out on? Hmm, seems familiar. Which else websites are hosted by Invision? Same, I misread it too! Have you considered taking a break from LGBTQIA+ spaces for a while, especially forums and spaces like this? I feel the same, at times. It happens if you spend too much time in certain communities, and then you start to focus a little too much on your sexuality. Or gender identity. Or both Do tell me more, and eloborate, on spadillic? I have heard of it, and it seems quite useful. Why is it unpopuular? I have never heard of that before! How is spadillic a more broad term? Alright, thank you!
  10. Jumping teacher? Dressage teacher? Oh, cool, that first sentence would explain a lot. Bu then how come AVEN has no limit on image sizes? I get that it probably has more funding, as well as the fact that it is more in demand. But still. How can someone be a questioning furry, though? What is the name of the furry admin? MMM, yeah, it definitely has a focus on romance more, from my brief time spent on it. How come Arocalypse doesn't have that kind of focus on sex/sexual relationships? I get that a lot of these people came from AVEN, so they are probably more understanding of why not to do that, and a lot of people here are AroAce. But there are a lot of aro-allos here, no? It was nice, joining here. More focus on lack of romantic attraction, and lack of romance. Refreshing. plus, it's more niche and a smaller community, so you can focus more on the content and daily posts, and pay attention to them. Doesn't dilute the content or posts as much, and we welcome new members and pay more attention to them! ( I don't know much about AVEN, only making generalizations based on what I know, what I heard about it from other people, especially ones here, and the fact that it's a larger community, and is a forum with much more members than Arocalypse!). Now all this forum requires is a furry mod, like on AVEN, and furries, too. Then the revolution will begin! Not to suggest that this should have to be more like AVEN. By the way, are you a furry, @Collie? I don't know why, but it seems like to me that @AroAcedragon13 would like the Warriors series, and would be a fan of them.
  11. 159. (Is there anything in the rules saying we can't say a number in a row?)
  12. Huh, how have your parents not asked about what those keychains or bracelets (or their colours) mean? And how did you get away with buying them? I'm assuming you made the bracelets, though. Loom Bands, yeah! What about your siblings? Would you come out to them? m-spectrum? How did they find out, or know, that you aren't straight? Rumours? Suspicions?
  13. Why did she not allow you to use your computer for four months because of AVEN? And how come she let you use it now? I'm surprised she isn't monitoring your computer usage after letting you use it. I also like how peaceful it is! I love the layout, and think it is neat and clean too! Do you mean that it is peaceful because of the cleanliness of the website?
  14. Oh, I didn’t realise it was an abbreviation for the teen corner over at AVEN. Honestly, it is sort of refreshing for this forum to have a name like Arocalypse and not something like an acronym (imagine if this was named AUREA, instead?). I do kind of wish it was named as an acronym, though. Also, is this forum intentionally modelled after AVEN? Is it on purpose? I did think about making an account there, and would have, but it’s banned over here. It is refreshing to be in a space which focus on Aromantic people, and aromanticism, for once. It’s also a smaller, which lends to a sort of charm? Anyway, I think I might prefer it over AVEN (I didn’t hear some controversies over it?). I like this one’s design, and layout. But the dark mode/theme of AVEN is much better than Arocalypse’s. Still a lack of furries here, though. I noticed quite a few furries on AVEN, including one or two mods? Quite a few people. I am intrigued. You were banned from AVEN? Why?
  15. Same, man, same. I was confused at first, then I thought, hey, she actually, finally, changed it! But I’ll dearly miss your previous profile photo! It gave me a particular vibe from you, that I will never forget, @nonmerci !
  16. Hello, and welcome to this forum! i hope you find it helpful, and have an enjoyable time here! Also, hey guys, I’m back!

  19. thats very impressive considering its been trained by a goose ~roboticanary
  20. I would like to know what it is like to be aromantic and allosexual. For some reason, I seem to be able to tell what it's like to be alloromantic asexual, much more easily than what it is like to be aromantic and allosexual? Maybe because a only a romantic relationship between two people, without a sexual relationship being present, or sexual attraction present (and maybe romance in a relationship without sex), is more heard of, than vice versa? Like maybe it's because people find a romantic relationship without the sex or without a sexual relationship to be less dirty, or more wholesome? Do people consider sexual relationships without romantic attraction/romance, or a romantic relationship, to be creepy, or more dirty, or something? I can sort of tell what it's like to be asexual and allosexual, but not so much when it comes to being aromantic and allosexual. Maybe it's my own experiences with attractions?? I can sort of tell what a romantic relationship between two allo-asexual people would look like, without the sexual attraction, or sex, or a sexual relationship being present, but a sexual relationship between allo-aromantic people. Is it maybe because sexual relationships without romance, romantic attraction, or romantic relationships are seen as or depicted as being one-night stands, or without commitment? Basically one-time occurrences? It's like romantic relationships with sex/sexual relationships can be a thing, and are fine, but not vice versa?? IDK, I can't see what that would be like in theory, let alone practically? So, I am basically asking for experiences of what it is like to be aromantic and asexual, and maybe also what it is like to be in a relationship without romance/romantic relationship (if you have been in one). Sorry if I offended anyone, please tell me if I used a phrase, or said something that was rude/insensitive/wrong. (Oh, for reference, I lack romantic attraction, as well as sexual attraction).
