Not 100% related to amatonormativity, but I was watching a VERY old spiderman show that was fairly sexist. Most of the characters were men, and almost all of the villians are men. I can only recall threefemale characters- a mother figure, a love interest, and one a villian. The villain is the Black Cat, and she constantly flirts to spiderman throught the episode. It's sexist for them to make all the females have romance in their character!

Greyromantic is an umbrella term that covers anyone on the aromantic-spectrum that isn't 100% aromantic. Sometimes the terms are used interchangeably. Another term you can look into is aegoromantic. The LGBTQIA wiki on Fandom says, "Aegoromantic describes those who enjoy the concept of romance but do not have a desire to participate in romantic activities. Aegoromantic individuals may have romantic fantasies, enjoy romantic media, or engage in shipping in fandoms, but they tend to feel little to no romantic attraction in real life and typically do not desire a romantic relationship."

I think you should try to keep to yourself. Try not to put your friend in an uncomfortable place. By telling people that she is aroace, your friend is implying that she does not want to be in a relationship.
