    Corrupt a Wish

You start not to care about what your food tastes like and eat poisonous berries. You die a slow and painful death. I wish I was a better artist
  2. I'm offended that you think 4 is red. I'm on dark mode so it's white on my side. (/j i know what synethesia is don't kill me)
  3. Here's some things you could mention: - amatonormativity - aro myths (not all aros are ace, aros are not emotionless robots) - queerplatonic relationships? Whn I first started looking to aromantics, i found the topics were very connected - other types of attraction (platonic, aesthetic, etc.) - some aro pride stuff, like aro rings - aro vs. ace Hope this helps! Good luck on your presentation!
  4. I'm offended that you posted that at 7:14 in my timezone. I wasn't even awake then!

Once you look at something, you find it impossible to look away. All you can dois stare at it and think about it. You forget about eating and drinking while focusing on this object, and die from dehydration. But at least you had some interesting thoughts on the on ebject! I wish I had a pet cat :]
  6. Yeah, I use and see the same one crow mentioned
  7. I would consider what you're talking about as a squish! To me, squishes are people I think are very cool and I want to be friends with :) I currently have squishes on a few people, and I would just like to get to know them better and chat with them!

No, you probably should not. I'm a little confused on why you're asking on this site thoug haha /nm
  9. I'd say 3? She from what you said, it looks like she needed some time to herself. On the other hand, it wasn't right of her to lie to you.
  10. I've noticed this site has a leaderboard. How are points earned? Also, how does the ranking stuff work- they way someone goes from newbie to member and all that?

A new vaccine is created, and everyone in the world takes it. Little do they all know, this new vaccine is very deadly, but the negative effects happen only after a few years! The human race goes into decline, and in a couple years, all of humanity is dead. I wish I could shape shift...
  12. I'm a questioning aro-spec ace and I'm planning on maybe coming out to close friends soon. I've never came out to anyone directly. I'm wondering what to expect and what to say. HHow have your experiences coming out been? What questions should I anticipate? Any warnings on what allos might not understand? What should I do if someone is aphobic or doesn't accept me? I hope someone can answer these questions. Thanks!
  13. Yes! There's a term, genderfaun (iirc), that you migt look in to! A genderfaun person is genderfluid between non-binary and masculine identities. Transgender is also an umbrella term, so transmasculine would describe that too!

    Books

Rick by Alex Gino is a childrens' book, but still a good and short read. It's about a middle school boy coming out as aroace and facin homophobia Summer Bird Blue by Akemi Dawn Bowman (iirc) is also a good book. It's a lot heavier, about a girl coping with death. It's not too focused on aromantics, but ths main character is aro-spec and ace.
  15. I'm questioning right now, but I've wondered if I was straight, bi,pan, aego, grey, and agno, in thet order more-or less. Currently I'm thinking I may be aro or greyro- those very specific microlabels are descripive, but not well enough known!
  16. I'm not on AVEN and I've never heard of this debate before, but here are my thoughts. I think the term allo is fine, and better than calling allos romantic people. Those who identify as aro-spec may be "romantic" in some ways but not others- they might even consider themself a person who understands romance, occasionally feel romantic attraction, or may or may not want a romantic relationship. Even if these people are romantic in some ways, they aren't alloromantic- so calling allos "romantics" seems more complicated. I guess I don't really understand why people wouldn't like the term alloromantic. Seems like a dumb debate,. Allo is a valid term the same way cisgender, monogamous, and heteroromantic/sexual are, so I'm confused on why people don't like it.
  17. Talking about amatonomativity (what it means, examples, etc.) , other aspec labels (grey- demi- lithro- apath- and a whole lot more), and fluidity between both gender and orientation could be good things to mention. You also may want to explain queerplatonic relationships. I know pretty much nothing about Spanish, but I'm wondering something- because spanish has feminine and masculine words, what do people do when referencing non-binary people? /gen Best of luck with this! Hope this is helpful!
  18. True, but sometime far in the future The person below me lives in a big city
  19. I'm still questioning right now, though I think I'm arospec and ace. When I was in thrid grade, people kept talking about having crushes on eachother. Neither of my friends had crushes, and I THOUGHT I had a crush but it was really a squish, thinking back. (At the time I thought that crushes were things people chose to have.) To be honest, I knew little about the lgbtq+ community and was not a supporter at the time. (I wasn't lgbtphobic either, though.) Later in 4th grade, a girl had a crush on me. When she told me, my thoughts were, "huh, I didn't know people could have crushes on the same gender!" Again, I thought crushes were platonic and didn't realise she was queer until a few years later. I suppose in middle school people were talking about crushes and I never related. (I sat at a table with some girls in math class and helped them through the work, and they always talked about dating and boys which confused me.) Lots of people had crushes on me,which made me very paranoid and nervous. When people were dating each other, I was shocked ad thought we were too young to start dating. Only a few years ago I e started learning about the community and terminology. When I saw the terms aromantic and asexual, nothing really clicked with me. Just recently I decided that I may actually be aro, but I want to give it time and see if I'm comfy with the label. I'm still rather young, so idk if I'm a late bloomer or something. Sorry if theres any typos, I'm doing this on mobile. Hope I didn't write too much XD
  20. In class, some peoplewere talking about celebrity relationships. Using placeholder names (A-C are classmates, X-Z are clebrities) A:I heard that X and Y broke up. B: I thought X was dating Z? A: No, they broke up a while ago C: This is why you don't get into relationships with celebrities Me: This is why you don't get into relationships at all! *thumbs up* Or something along those lines. I'm not out as aro yet, maybe I should stop giving hints about about aromanticism /h /lh
