I’ve tried to explain this to a lot of people at my high school about the relationship between me and my queer platonic partner, we hold hands and hug a lot so people always say we are dating even though we aren’t. And when people ask I try and explain it but they seem to want to believe we’re dating. It’s getting annoying because my partner is getting called a simp nonstop and people don’t want to believe we’re not dating.

In my experience there is no way to speed up the process of being ok with yourself you just have to give it time.

So I have this friend who I cuddle with a lot and sometimes we kiss and he pins me down and kisses me. I enjoy when he kisses me and but I don’t want to have sex even though it sounds like a sexual thing and I don’t feel like we do this in a sexual way (I identify as asexual). when he dose it I feel flustered like I blush and such but it doesn’t feel romantic (I’ve talked about this with him and he agrees it doesn’t feel romantic or sexual) I’m really confused is there a word for this kind of attraction or am I mistaking it for something?

Edit: (Ok so apparently worded this horribly wrong so I re wrote it a bit) so I see a lot of connections between arophobic adults and toddlers and toddlers when they are not nice the are sent to time out. The only problem is I can’t tell an adult to go take a timeout so how should I get them to understand that they are hurting people?
