what's so wild to me is that sometimes im practicing the violin as i do, and then suddenly i play like one wrong note and end up thinking of a song and somehow conjuring the next 5 or so notes to the rest of the beat and then unable to think of more

i somehow ended up playing 10 seconds of The Bidding by Tally Hall because i just made notes up

this isn't ven a one time thing it's happened with other notes and songs like how do i make MORE notes why is my brain supplying the first 10 seconds

i have this rlly bad obsession with looking up my old elementary school (it's a very small school i was in for years before i went to my current high school) and turns out one of the most recent reviews is someone's non-verbal autistic kid being locked in a room by themselves without supervision, and the reasoning the teachers gave was that the kid wasn't following instructions

that review was one week ago 💀

apparently the kid has a fear of rooms and locked doors now for 3 yrs holy shit

worst part is, i could picture this actually happening bc of the environment i remember in the school

this yearbook course is fucked up. i have 5 days to conjure a yearbook spread and despite all the wonderful assets and color schemes i can't figure shit out. no guidance bro said "pick a topic and do it" like yayyyyyy

i chose dance night and not only do i: a) find 3000+ pictures of said event b) not know how to format a yearbook spread in the style because any examples i could find were in the experimental phase where a style wasn't established and c) i have zero ideas in my head on formatting. i haven't graphic designed in a while. graphic design is not my passion indeed, but it better become at least 50% more interesting or else i dunno what I'm gonna do

ahhhhhhh i got the good omens soundtrack discs today! 100/10 worth the purchase. even came with a lil book describing all 6 eps of s2!

man who knew that the pipeline from a good omens playlist to a play/movie would be so... disturbing

so basically amazon prime posted this playlist (which <3 amazinnn) and it includes the song Spread A Little Happiness by Sting (very good song)

the description of a video of the song i found said it was included in Brimstone and Treacle. A few comments i'd read alluded to the fact that Martin (the character who Sting acts as in this video) was kinda bad but upon a Wikipedia read (be warned if you choose to read)i discovered that the plot basically goes as such:

- there;s this girl who becomes disabled bc of an event or smth, the parents (mom and dad) are Devastated 

- one day this dad walks accrosss the street and meets martin who somehow has taken all his money out of the dad's wallet. something something he offers to help the daughter or smth

- at first the dad is like weary of this dude bc he does give off Bad Vibes and the disabled girl made no mention of this martin guy

- eventually he's like "ok whatever"

- but then martin r*pes the disabled girl (!!!) nd does it TWICE (!!!)

- the parents realize the girl is fully recovered or smth bc i don't remember and story ends in main girl remembering what happened in the accident that made her disabled only to find out the father cheated

so uh wow. certain A Story but yet i want to watch the tv show of sheer curiosity bc martin dude intrigues me id like to know more
