If I sing love songs am I no longer aromantic?

I want to ask a question if it is that I don't know whether to sing a song but always apart from love what would I say I don't know but maybe this is it every afternoon I sing and to have a great time and I really don't know if singing romantic songs I will continue to be aro thank you?

Its the lack of romantic attraction that defines one as aro, not the lack of interest in romance related things.

You can absolutely sing love songs as an aro! In fact, I find it empowering when someone who can't feel romantic love sings romance songs to steal it from the allos (lmao). Some of my favorite songs that are supposed to be love songs I can actually see it being about a different kind of love (i.e. "Till Then" 1958 by The Mills Brothers, I really only see being about familial love), and there's some love songs I just love singing (i.e. "The longest Time" by Billy Joel).

I like good romantic songs too, and also yes to interpreting some in context of other versions of love.

The media you consume doesn't define your romantic orientation, so no, it doesn't make you any less valid in your experience!! I too enjoy nicely written romance songs. :DD

If I sing "Bicycle Race" by Queen, it doesn't mean I want to ride a bike every time, if at all, or even that I like bikes.

Short answer: Loving love music != Being romantic.

Most of my music taste is explicitly romantic. I'm still aro. It's about attraction, not actions.
