    Squall Leonhart from FF8 is my all time favorite Final Fantasy main character. But his relationship with Rinoa Heartilly makes no sense at all. I could almost hear the game developers saying "we must force in a love story no matter what!"

    At the end of .hack//G.U. main hero Haseo is given the "Promise card" to choose one of his teammates as his favorite & get a special ending with that character. You can give it to a female character & have a virtual wedding. But there's one woman who doesn't like Haseo that way, & one AMAB who does (gay wedding!) With the other male characters you end up with a best friend, little brother, or mentor.

    I suspect that at a subconscious level they did know there is a difference. They had 2 deities associated with love which were different from each other. The God of "love" (whom poets called Cupid but was commonly known as Amor or Putti) in practice ruled romantic love. The Goddess of "common love" (Venus) was in charge of lust/sex. At least that's how it looks in the books I've read.

    I was raised by Christians who worried about my lack of interest in pairing off as I got older. I gave up on Christianity by 14. Around the age of 16 I began learning about my people's Shamanic beliefs, & it suited me. In our tradition sexual, gender & romantic minorites are called two spirit people.       I don't know a huge amount about how Discord works I'm afraid but I hope it gets handled properly. In the meantime, I hope one awful person out of the whole discord server won't ruin your experience, you don't deserve that

    2 spirit is a Native term refering to sexual, gender and romantic minorities; in my case asexual, genderless and aromantic. The other part calls out racial fakers; if you hear someone say that they have an ancestor who was a "Cherokee princess," that's a lie.

    I was showing the new She-ra to my bff. When we got to the episode with the underwater club I said "watch for Perfuma & Scorpia flirting in this one." She replied "haven't they been flirting all along?" I didn't notice until it was obvious.

    My, first I was offline for 6 months, then I could visit again, then Arocalypse was down.  I was getting anxious; thank goodness it's back.
