OMGitsGhastly Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 This is definitely one of my favorite songs of all time.
Aliyiah Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 These are the two songs stuck in my head currently (for the last week) Spoiler Spoiler
NullVector Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 @OMGitsGhastly The song you posted reminds me of Explosions In The Sky (even down to the drumming style...) so you might like their stuff as well? I remember listening to this album a lot in my first year at uni. I reckon it has quite a similar sound... @DeltaV Not heard of Grimes before, but really digging her stuff so far, so thanks! (I've just been playing the Visions album after listening to the track you posted). She gets bonus points for being from Montreal
DeltaAro Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 @NullVector Grimes rules. Visions is far more removed from mainstream pop than Art Angels. The older albums are even more experimental. But I love them all.

DeltaAro Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 Also, the first two albums were “self-produced” to put it euphemistically. At least Halfaxa was done with more expensive equipment so it's not very noticeable. I personally don't mind it, but it's still surprising that Geidi Primes was even taken seriously.
NullVector Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Synth-pop for the win (she also features on the hunger games soundtrack you posted @DeltaV)

NullVector Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 @Louis Hypo Yay, a fellow Bjork fan So much awesomeness in this interview about Isobel (also features Michel Gondry, who directed the video)
Generic Clown Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 I swear I listen to more than just Bowie i don't listen to more than just bowie
