Sweet! Congratulations, I’d love to get one of my own at some point. :D

Oh my gosh I’d love to get one of those silicon bands that are all fancy and stuff when I get the chance. (And the money. XD)

  2. For me, Twitch Sings is one of the places where I can sing my heart out without anyone looking and noticing and have singing performance anxiety at the same time. It's like taking risks, especially on Duet; then the intrusive thinking of how people will react to it comes right after.

...There's a Twitch Sings?! I need this in my life.

@Ace of AmethystsVery late reply, but yes. :D You can download it here

  3. Arocalyptors who have seen Detective Pikachu, is it good? I'm thinking of watching tomorrow, but seeing its Tomatometer's giving me second thoughts.

I haven't seen it either, but it looks better than I thought it would be.

I haven't seen it yet but one of my friends wanted to treat me to a ticket as a thanks. I'm kinda hesitant about if I'll like it, but oh well, it seems like the most promising options compared to the alternatives.

in movie terms, no. but in overall rating from me has to be a 10/10, just because it is hilarious, both unintentionally and intentionally. I would definitely recommend that you watch it.

  4. This one's another good aro/apothiro/antiro song
  5. One more. Heating it again made me realize it's an apothiromantic/antiromantic song. NIKI's Warpaint
  6. Selena Gomez's Same Old Love Joji's Test Drive and No Fun Lady Gaga's Alejandro Beyoncé's Sorry Bryan Adams' Love Is Hell Puddle of Mudd's She Hates Me AlunaGeorge's Attracting Flies
  7. I'd rather hopefully win the current record-breaking lottery jackpot and use the winnings to: pay all my debts to my parents pay-off all of my family's loans and debts get my mother her dream car purchase the vacant lot next to our house renovate/remodel/repair the current house and expand and paint it using the purchased lot make an office for the family business invest in a food-based franchise(s) donate to our charities of choice get back to that weight-loss program that I abruptly stopped more than 4 years ago get a gym and yoga membership go back to therapy have me and everyone in my family get a general check-up fix and upgrade my grandparents' house (as promised to my late grandfather) have a new PC build that's up-to-date with the current hardwares in the market travel to Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Norway, Italy, France, Canada and Hong Kong as a family or alone watch my/our very first live Singapore Grand Prix (even better if it's in the Paddock Club) and split the remaining money equally with my family and put it in our respective savings than get married.
  8. New discoveries/realizations! I know I said the last time that it'll be the last, but the songs/memories/realizations keep on coming. The Lonely Island's Hugs (feat. Pharrell Williams) TLC's No Scrubs and Dear Lie
  9. Okay. Three last songs. Assuming these can be aro (and ace)-themed based on the lyrics: Joji's Slow Dancing In the Dark Tina Turner's What's Love Got to Do With It? Good Charlotte's I Don't Wanna Be In Love (Dance Floor Anthem)
  10. What you said is true. I went through a catfish/loss of trust/trauma/privacy-invasion/heartbreak years ago that triggered my repulsion, cynicism, anger and judgement against romance. Post Malone's Over Now is so harsh and angry it speaks to me. Anything with a 'heartbreak-ish' theme speaks romance repulsion in my mind. It's like telling others that there's no such thing as a perfect romance/relationship/love, it's not a severe necessity/importance, counts as a word/tale of caution/warning and everything is just an unwanted public scandal waiting to happen. Those songs I've listed are the kind that makes me sing out loud to shut out the amatonormativity and societal/media/social/cultural influence of romance all around me.
  11. More new songs, and transferring a few of the new ones from the last list to keep it up-to-date Mariah Carey's Obsessed The Saturdays' Keep Her, Lies, Chasing Lights, Fall, Forever Is Over, Ego, Wordshaker and Not Good Enough Calvin Harris' Sweet Nothing (feat. Florence Welch) My Chemical Romance's I Don't Love You Example's I Don't Want To Justin Timberlake's Cry Me a River Timbaland's Apologize (feat. OneRepublic) Omarion's Ice Box Gabriella Cilmi's Sweet About Me Avril Lavigne's Losing Grip, Complicated, Anything But Ordinary and Don't Tell Me Simple Plan's Shut Up! (another big FU to amatonormativity anthem) Carly Simon's You're So Vain Janet Jackson's Son of a Gun (I Betcha Think This Song Is About You) Bon Jovi's It's My Life Annie's Chewing Gum and I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me The Pussycat Dolls' Wait a Minute (feat. Timbaland) and Beep (feat. will.i.am) P!nk's Raise Your Glass MIKA's Blame It On the Girls Terror Jr's Dead Girl Walking Snakehips' Days With You (feat. Sinead Harnett) Datarock's Not Me Radioactive Sago Project's Wasak Na Wasak and Alak Sugal Kape Babae Kabaong (I can't find Tagalog-to-English translations for both, but I find them both a bit of aro/apothiro/antiro songs) Mark Morrison's Return of the Mack Imogen Heap's Hide and Seek
  12. It's okay. It took me more than 6 or 7 years since I first listened to L'amour to find out that it wasn't a positive song about love at all ?
  13. Since I can't edit-to-add my previous post anymore, here are more song suggestions for the playlist. Edited along the way for more future suggestions: Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman's Something Stupid Bielfield's Dance Again (feat. Courtney Act) Dua Lipa's IDGAF and New Rules Paramore's Misery Business, Ignorance, Crushcrushcrush, That's What You Get and Ain't It Fun Adele's Send My Love (To Your New Lover)
  14. @Holmbo The translation made it a romance-repulsed/cynical song for me. Is it because of the 'strange sweet taste of my lovers' skins' part in the end? Or maybe the title? Just curious to know and wonder. I just consider that part like 'kissing/making out and above-the-belt touchy-feely with a one-time date but never going all the way'. More suggestions: Justin Timberlake's What Goes Around.../ ...Comes Around (Interlude) Kelis' Trick Me Kaiser Cheifs' Everyday I Love You Less and Less La Roux's Bulletproof Terror Jr's Heartbreaks Taylor Swift's We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, I Knew You Were Trouble and Bad Blood (both the album and Kendrick Lamar-featured versions) Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Love Is a Losing Game Spice Girls' Too Much and Stop No Doubt's Ex-Girlfriend Honey Pig's Clueless You Meghan Trainor's Lips Are Movin' My Chemical Romance's I'm Not Okay (I Promise) and It's Not a Fashion Statement It's a Deathwish The Ting Tings' Shut Up and Let Me Go Cher Lloyd's Superhero
