Assumed romance when happy

I remember a couple of times when I was in a good mood and people assumed something romantic must have happened. Maybe saying who's the lucky lady, something like that. Or just assuming someone was my partner if we seemed to be enjoying talking to each other.

If I say something complimentary about someone, people assume it's because I like them.

When I first realized I was a therian, I went to church and a former friend said I was more relaxed than usual and was I IDing as something other than asexual now?

Thanksfully I never have that. But I see it a lot in fiction (happy because of romance or sex, it depends) so I am not surprised people assume this kind of stuff in real life too.
