Guest ad-ARO-ble Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Is cheesecake cake? Answer here! The next person must say why you are wrong, define what a cake is, and say whether cheesecake is cake. To start: Cheesecake is cake because it says it in the name
Vega Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Yes because it's cake shaped and called cake. @Starry Sky we have the same number of posts right now O_O
owl Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Not cake because they don't really have anything in common with most cakes... More like a pie type thing
blacktea Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I want to say cheesecake is a cake because it is my favorite type of cake, but realistically I do not think it is, it fits the definition of a tart better
aihpen Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 To me it's cake because in my head all cakes, pies and tarts are called cake. Except for small cakes, those are muffins. And muffins include cupcakes. I'm a simple person with simple vocabulary
Rising Sun Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Here people often call yogurt cake "cheesecake". It's very much like ordinary cake except that it has added yogurt or cottage cheese in the batter, and it has a light texture. It has nothing to do with pie.
brsajo Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Cheesecake is cake because of the context it is often had at (birthdays, parties etc.).
Louis On Air Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Cheesecake is cake because trust me, a lot of things count as cake
