I don't know if I have ever experienced crushes when I was younger. I don't recall any fancy I had with anyone, so I guess I didn't get crushes. And yes, aromanticism is a spectrum, and you can experience crushes!!! They may not be as often or as strong as an alloromantic person's, but that's completely okay!

I have come out to my siblings and hinted that I am aro to my parents. But my parents don't know officially. My friends know, but they don't seem to understand it except for a few.

I am aromantic and have thought of myself as sensitive because of a number of reasons. I don't have ADHD, but there's a chance I could be autistic.

I have been wondering about this lately. I myself do not believe I am aplatonic, but I am curious of the topic and wanted to ask what some personal aplatonic experiences of some of the users are. Is it a general lack of not wanting friends or is it where you don't experience squishes? I didn't initially get introduced to the term until I came upon the term on AUREA.

What is your favorite books with aro-spec characters or aro-coded characters? My personal favorite is Loveless by Alice Oseman. It's the only one I've read with an aromantic character.

I just want to know if I am not alone in this. I have become obsessed with labeling my aromantic identity to the point where it takes up a lot of mind. It's not as bad as it was, but I am still struggling with this. To someone who has never done this, it may seem irrational to be obsessed with something like this. But my therapist pointed out to me that I might be obsessed or concerned with putting a label on every experience, when I should just let the experiences be. If you are wondering why I am struggling with this, it might be because of OCD. I don't generally like talking about it online for everyone to see, but I was just seeing if someone else who has OCD has become obsessed with labels in the past or just someone who doesn't have OCD and has become obsessed with labeling their experiences too.
