  1. How do you differentiate romantic attraction from other feelings of attraction, such as platonic or aesthetic attraction? How does romantic attraction feel? (like... is it the stereotypical thing in movies where you get the fast heartbeat, blushing, thinking about them all the time, etc.)
  2. Some of mine are... This is Home by Cavetown Crush Culture by Conan Gray High Definition by Waterparks (not exactly aromantic, but there are a couple of lines that give off aromantic vibes if that makes any sense?)
  3. I remember experiencing romance repulsion a LOT when I found out that one of my close friends had a crush on me. I also experience it when I read too many romance stories or watch too many romance movies (although for some reason it happens waaaay more with straight couples…) When people give too many details about their relationships (cheesy pet names, what they wish they could do with their partner, etc.) I get romance repulsion, which I actually feel a bit guilty about since I should be happy for them.
  4. My cousin asked me if I had a boyfriend, then proceeded to speculate about said boyfriend. I just sat there in aroace silence hasdhjdjskkdjfj Like, I’m sorry, but do I really look THAT straight to you???
  5. Hey! My name's Kai. I'm aroace (I'm pretty sure, tbh it's a little hard to tell if I'm aroace when I don't actually know how attraction feels...) and agender. I use they/them pronouns. I realized I was aroace a few months ago but lately I've been feeling more confused about my orientation, sooo yeah. That's it, I don't know how to write an introduction halsdjflksdjflkj
  6. There's a webtoon called Castle Swimmer that has an aroace character named Neth. I also like Peridot from Steven universe. I have a couple headcanons, like Elsa from Frozen and Kido from Kagerou Daze.
  7. I prefer to think of Valentine's Day as celebrating all kinds of love, not just romance. (although that's definitely not how everybody else thinks of it...) Still, I always found it sort of overrated. It puts waaaaaay too much emphasis on romance, to be honest...
