    Can anybody please check something mathsy for the book I'm writing? Would it take (very) roughly 78 hours for a space ship travelling 700,000 kilometres per hour to travel 55.8 million kilometres?

      Well, my protagonists need to intercept a space ship headed towards Mars, and I needed to figure out the number of days they have to construct something. Three days seems dramatic enough ;)

    My dad's on a buisness thing, so for the first time ever I'm buying and cooking food for myself (my sister is home, but she works late) That's pretty awesome, but I bought a bag of salad and it turned out to be completely old and slimy ¬¬

      It's great, isn't it?? **spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it**

      That was apparently the first gay relationship in an animated series of its kind. I.e. cartoony/anime-ey kind of thing.

       

      I'm not sure if I liked it better than the original series. I think I did. I love Toph though.

    Starting season 2 of Legend of Korra. Apparently this is the worst one, but 3 and 4 are amazing :P

      Yes, I did quite like it in the end. I'm a sucker for giant battles and explosions, but the love stuff was definitely annoying ¬¬

      The love stuff in the first two seasons was especially jarring compared to TLA, but I don't think seasons 3 and 4 were quite so ham-handed in that respect. Season 3 was my personal favorite, though its finale made for a not-so-fun time waiting for season 4. Korra's growth as a character is probably one of my favorite things about the series, and that growth starts to feel much more apparent in the latter two seasons.

    When your sister promises you they'll only go at most 1 hour for birthday present shopping, and it ends up being TWO HOURS. I cannot deal with two hours of shipping.

    So I asked my sister earlier this evening if she could knock on my door, which got laughed off. Five minutes ago she barges into my room and throws me some M&M's and says that it's for her not knocking. But she still isn't knocking, and I pointed that out and I got laughed off again! But whatever, I'll try again later an in the meantime I'll eat these M&M's, because I like M&M's ^_^

      You can get the thing that prevents babies from opening doors and stuff, and stick that on your door. It works without needing power tools

    Yay: I got a new chair to replace my broken old one for my birthday. It's a swivelly chair! :D

    Uh oh: I had to put it together myself. The back has already fallen off and I can't get it to stay on.

      Swivel chairs are my favorite! xD Although it's not a good idea for me to have one because I broke my arm from standing on one once.

      For a few days, but then it was deemed an evil threat and completely banned. I can get on AVEN if I log in, but 'prohibited forums content' is apparently worse than 'prohibited sex education content' :P
