So today i was sitting in the car with my mom and we were talking about going back to school and some of my classmates.I started talking about someone and my mom brought up how she was very obsessed with dating.And then proceeded to say that rather than liking boys she would start liking girls and said that she would become trans and said she would do it so people will like her and be her friend as if being trans or your sexuality is for attention or being popular.and that really upset me but she didn't stop there she said that when asked if i have a boyfriend or if i'm dating anyone i should fake having one.AND she started questioning why someone started using they/them pronouns and was very rude about it.And said that she would never understand people like that. This all happened in like 30 minutes and i have been upset about it since because who wouldn't this whole conversation was very disrespectful to literally everyone. :(

hi i'm an asexual and for me i still question whether i am ace because i'm kinda young. so i identify as aroace because that's what feels right and i just keep an open mind so if by some odd chance i get sexually attracted to someone then i figure it out from there and personally i think that is the best thing anyone can do. It's perfectly fine to be scared and confused because i was too. Don't worry about what your sexuality will mean to anyone else just find what feels right to you no one else's opinion truly matters. I knew when other people around me started talking about and feeling things i wasn't so after some time i found asexuality and at first i wasn't sure but then i thought about it and just went with it because it felt right.To find people like you sometimes you just stumble upon them randomly otherwise you could find other aces on here or you could go on AVEN. Being asexual means different things to everyone, to me it means i feel no sexual attraction and i am usually sex-repulsed. I definitely know what this feels like and you are not alone you are 100% valid no matter how you identify.

i have never thought about a wedding and i have never wanted one and i will never want one but in theory... i will show up on a skateboard,there will be plenty of cake and other types of desserts,i will be wearing sweatpants,a t-shirt and vans,there is no dress code,pizza,after there is a movie night,not walking down the aisle or whatever because i don't want to and my anxiety says no,fairy lights,only my friends and whoever else shows up will be there.the tablecloths would be rainbow.

I feel more aro. It just makes sense to me.My asexuality is still something i question because i'm kinda young so i'm just taking it day by day and if today i'm ace then today i'm ace and if for some odd reason i'm not tomorrow then i'll figure it out.I hate the idea of kissing so anything else is even worse.i haven't really felt discrimination yet but being in school where dating is "important" or whatever is horrible.
