Not by choice, it was because I was flying about 8 hours and prior to that I was up for like 6 hours. Landed 2 hour layover, 2 hour flight. Walking and stuff all day. Stupid jet lag kept me up and i didn’t sleep. Next day I walked all day and stuff and passed out back in the hotel room. It sucks. I didn’t choose not to sleep My friends saw a whole new side of me from that endevour

Fine. I mean I went 40-48 hours w/o sleep. It’s possible it’s just annoying.

This is awful, I don’t stand anywhere politically. But this is completely unfair. I live in Maryland. (Washington co. To be exact and it’s heavily republican.) I live right near Virginia and I believe Virginia is very republican (and pro-gun, learned that yesterday. As like the kids sports game I was at was raffling off a literal shotgun.) anywho. I think this is completely unjust.

Sometimes I feel like I’m lying to myself about being aro ace. Like I get being aroace is against the social norm in a way. But like sometimes I feel like it’s just I’m in denial of being aroace. it’s gotten to the point I feel like I just don’t seem worth it to be aroace. Like it’s sometimes I’m walking down the hall listening to like those aroace playlists on Spotify and such. Just to make it feel like I belong with this community. I don’t feel attraction to anyone sexually or romantically. But sometimes I don’t feel attraction like platonically or sensually. Like I feel detached from like everyone else emotionally. And like anything like that. Hell sometimes I don’t feel anything to friends or family. I don’t think this is a mental disorder but I just don’t know. does anyone else feel like they are lying about being part of the a-spec community?

No, some other girl in his friend group. yes it does. I did, and this really hits hard :) I really needed this :) both for this post but also personal struggles :)

basically, this girl came up to me a couple of minutes after I told my "friend" I was ace, didn't specify being aro. ANd this girl tried hitting on me in such a sexual way like that it genuinely frightened me. She basically came up to me and started like caressing my shoulders and doing some other sexual remarks and actions i.e. "meet me in the bathroom" (yuck) it was bad enough like I thought something was wrong with me. She claimed she was "fixing me" and I should "give into it" and she kept saying that "this is better for you." I've already done a report to the schools principal, but that most likely won't go anywhere as school tends to say that the boys are just boys when a girl reports sexual harassment. However I (male) reporting this probably will seem strange as I "should like it". This truly broke me, I don't know what to think. Any help will be nice.

honestly for me I've handled It well, it is people's body preference, I have no say in it. but as I sorta did that when I was overseas, I didn't adjust at all to European time. and I slept about that much (about 4 months later) and yet I haven't adjusted, I've talked with my doctor and such, and I have been taking some sleep meds.
