my science teacher has been summoned to fucking court? for jury duty?
wtf is jury duty?
according to my teacher, this summoning shit happens every 3 years once you reach 18?
and then he says he gets sleected to serve for this ""jury panel"" for a 3 week trial which is inconvenient as fuck

Lol, my dead grandma lived at our house for a bit and she moved down to North Carolina
(seems like almost any Maryland family has family in one of the Carolina’s)
anywho, she got a jury summon sent to us from the grave and a frickin sheriff supervisor showed up to our house like a day before the jury had to show up. Like I had a heart attack when I saw the flashing lights pull into my driveway while I’m just chilling upstairs. (At this time I was babysitting my siblings and I stepped upstairs for a bit) so I thought they did something.
