Angrboda Posted May 7, 2022 Share Posted May 7, 2022 I know this is an odd question, but does anyone else hate the typical stuff that most people like to do for fun? I really HATE sitting around & eating as a social activity. To me, sitting around & relaxing with people just isn't enjoyable. I've never met anyone over the age of 8 who felt the same way, but hey, if I'm not the only person who's aro, then I can't be the only person who feels this way, right? Just to clarify, I'm not hyperactive at all. I can study for hours. But I tend to stay busy, either physically or mentally most of the time, especially when around people. Can anyone else relate to this? Much like my aro-ness, people always tried to tell me I'd grow out of it. I'm 34 & haven't. Of course, I neither understand parties, or celebrating birthdays, and all of that. impala67 Posted May 7, 2022 Share Posted May 7, 2022 I have a friend who is exactly like this. They need to be engaged in some way with others. For her she is either completing a sudoku or plans out outdoor activities when it comes to socializing. They really enjoy crafting in a group setting with close friends. But sitting hours and looking at tictoc doesn't make sense to me.
