A strange question...

I know this is an odd question, but does anyone else hate the typical stuff that most people like to do for fun? I really HATE sitting around & eating as a social activity. To me, sitting around & relaxing with people just isn't enjoyable. I've never met anyone over the age of 8 who felt the same way, but hey, if I'm not the only person who's aro, then I can't be the only person who feels this way, right? Just to clarify, I'm not hyperactive at all. I can study for hours. But I tend to stay busy, either physically or mentally most of the time, especially when around people. Can anyone else relate to this? Much like my aro-ness, people always tried to tell me I'd grow out of it. I'm 34 & haven't. I like the way I am, but I'd love to know if anyone else feels this way.

I don't even understand why do people meet. I've got no need to do it, I can spend weeks on my house and not missing anyone. Of course, I neither understand parties, or celebrating birthdays, and all of that. Social interaction feels usually forced for me.

I have a friend who is exactly like this. They need to be engaged in some way with others. For her she is either completing a sudoku or plans out outdoor activities when it comes to socializing. They really enjoy crafting in a group setting with close friends. I once organized a 'paint with bob ross' evening and she really enjoyed that.

Clubbing, parties, watching sports, sitting about angrily complaining all day instead of doing something about something, reading newspapers, hooking up with strangers...all things that I don't find fun or appetising.

Watching tictok. I don't find it fun at all. Sth my friends are showing me sth funny and it's ok. But sitting hours and looking at tictoc doesn't make sense to me. Same goes with rest of social media but on insta and facebook I massage with friends
