  1. Honestly, it's a lot more complicated than the guy is making it out to be.  Just because a guy likes a girl or a girl likes a guy...it doesn't automatically spoil the friendship.  It doesn't automatically make the friendship "not a friendship".  I really like my current main dinner for companion, for example.  I'm pretty sure he's not interested in me back, because I am ace.  Are we any less friends for it?  No way!

  2. I am Unitarian Universalist, my church never had a problem with me.  All of the problems I've ever had being aroace have been because of modern American culture, not my faith.  My best church friend harassed me about being aroace during 2020 (he later died of COVID, I really don't know how to feel about that).  I genuinely can't suss how my family feels about it, I have autism and my family can be very hard to read.

  3. So I have been hanging out with this guy ever since the semester started.  We online-chatted over the summer, and we had one or two dinners together last school year.  He can't get a girlfriend, and has complained about that in the past.  However, he doesn't complain too much.  A lot of the girls at my school don't think he is very cute, but I do not think he is bad-looking at all.  I am pretty sure I'm not romantically attracted to him, but I could see myself in a relationship with him as long as I am allowed to be myself.  I don't want to kiss or have sex with him.  The question is, would it be fair to him to ask for a relationship under those conditions?  Could it ruin our friendship?  Could this cause drama, unnecessarily?  Should I start a relationship, without romantic attraction?  Should I propose a queerplatonic relationship?  Am I really ready for this?

  4. I was eating dinner with a friend in the school cafeteria today, but...a friend of his decided to "join" us.  We had been having a perfectly good conversation about Vampire the Masquerade before this guy came along.  When he joined us, he started talking about anime and other things I know nothing about.  I listened to them talk, but was extremely annoyed the whole time.  When my friend left to go to work, his friend had no interest in talking to me.

    What should I do?
