the aro label?

so question I was in an VERY toxic relationship a few months ago and that is why I have been using the aro label. but I feel like I might want a romantic relationship. may I still use the aro labels or is there other labels?

Wanting a romantic relationship is not really what defines one as aro or not. The question is if you fall in love? If you fall in love you're not aro (unless it's seldom in which you could describe yourself as gray aro).

If you are allo (not aro) you could choose to describe yourself as for example single at heart or solo.

as Holmbo says, you can be aro and interested in dating, and allo and disinterested in dating! Lack of romantic attraction is the only thing needed.
