Thanks everyone who's contrabuted to this so far. I was worried about the response this topic would get, but clearly I was worrying over nothing Another one for me: I could be argued to be trying to be a 'special snowflake' because of all the labels I've been 'collecting' recently -

Never open my mouth? They both sound horrible when I think about it. WYR live in a house that is quiet but far away from civilisation, or in a house with noisy neighbors but every shop and service you could want is in walking distance?

I think my sister and I plotted the deaths and torture of our dolls as often as we 'mothered' them (we might have been slightly weird kids). Kids playing by caring for others doesn't bother me, I mean if you think about caring for pets is the same thing. It's when that's the only option when it seems creepy.
