Holmbo Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 I have noticed some interesting feelings lately about a coworker and I wonder if there's a name for it. This coworker is extremely good at his job. Even though he has really big responsibilities he always seems to get everything done in time, and well. He's always friendly and good humored too. I admire him immensely and look forward to every meeting he holds because it's always great. I suppose one could just say I admire him and enjoy being in his company, but it seems bigger than that. I feel almost giddy about my admiration. I don't think it's a squish though, because I have no desire to hang out with him outside work. Would this be considered like a kind of attraction? And to widen the topic, do you have any kind of feeling you think of as a specific type of attraction?
gravityspiker Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 I've colloquially referred to that type of admiration as a "talent crush" (or in aro circles, "talent squish").
Ace of Amethysts Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 I had a few toxic squishes based on that, oogh.
