good eye-contact, etc.

I just find the whole eye-contact thing weird.
Especially the way in which neurotypicals appear to require it in order to pay attention to what's being said to them...

There are times when you HAVE to? O.o I was not told this! xD

I shall tell you what I think then! When shaking someone's hand at a first meeting, especially if it is for work/family/social climbing~      , When exchanging names for the first time with someone (also to check if they have ZombieHungryHuskyKillYou eyes), When someone gets your order wrong (the eye contact then conveys even more annoyance)

Okay, I probably do do some of these (albeit fleetingly). But not during conversations (at all really). Consequently, I generally have no idea what colour people's eyes are xD

Yeah, I don't get why it's so important (And like I said, it also seems to be required as some sort of assurance that you're paying attention to them. Weird O.o)
