In PSHE, when learning about sexual orientation, our teacher identified aromantic and asexual wrong, and grouped them together, and didn't say there was a spectrum. It was just "not attracted to anyone" end of story and I was fuming and trying to hint that I was aro but nobody realised

Always thought I liked people, but when I thought about it, I didn't want to be in a romantic relationship with them, I want to have a sleepover and watch all the Harrry Potter movies

I'm not out so I tend to wear bracelts that I make with purple and green becuase I'm aroace and then if anyone asks what it is I say football team/school etc but if they specifically ask about aroace then I tell them I have a mood ring that doesn't really work so that's my black ring, but I don't have a white one unfortunately

I tend to just read ships between charecters I'm interested in, I don't actually ship them but it makes for good reading. Actually being in a relationship or being shipped? Prepare the quick exit trapdoor/hole in the ground

I am almost 14 and I discovered the terms Aromantic and Asexual around 2 years ago. A few months ago I began to realise that they applied to me. I am out to one random person, who was shipping me with someone as a joke, so I told them about my orientation to make them stop. However, I have never talked to other aros/aces before. When I realised I was aromanitic, it was becuase people were talking about celebrity crushes, and they asked me about mine. I said none, and they looked at me strangely. I didn't know anyone my age could even get crushes, but then I find it hard to think of anyone ever crushing on anyone. Questions for aros/aces if anyone wants to answer 1.
