I cut myself off from my friends. I love them too much for my own good. They're leaving my school next year. It would have hurt me so much if I had let myself get any closer to them. So why do I feel so bad?

  Something similar is happening to my friends and I. Personally, I think it's better to stay close to them and spend as much time together before you can't because it's going to hurt either way.
