I'm on this site so often because it is one of the few things that slips under my school's radar, and yet i don't post ever... figured i should try to start doing that...

    So here I am

Hello, and welcome to Arocalypse, Anaim! I can't wait to see what kinds of shenanigans you get up to, over here! Do check out off-topic posts and arcade posts, especially!

What is orange chicken? I have not heard of it before! I would love to hear an explanation, if you want to! Sounds delicious!

But the object shocks you whenever you use your power, with strength equal to the amount of electrical conductivity you've changed

I have the power to talk to authority figures without tripping up or falling over my words (can you tell I tripped while asking a teacher about something earlier today and accidentally bumped into her desk?)

You end up having social anxiety and are unable to get the words you want to speak out of your mouth/throat/mind.

I have an unlimited supply of oranges, and pretty much any fruit and vegetable I want at the moment, or desire to eat.

uh. yeah. platonic attraction is not romantic and its a tertiary attraction. some aromantic people are capable of experiencing platonic attraction while of course not experiencing romantic attraction. the label here would be aromantic alloplatonic

I didn't say platonic attraction is romantic.

I meant as in there has to be a term/label for people who only experience mild romantic love, but not strong romantic attraction.

or example lesbians can still be attracted to fictional men, and there's a phenomenon within the furry fandom called "furry bi" where people are straight/gay irl but bisexual when it comes to furry characters. And then there are people who, for example, label their overall orientation as bi because they're attracted to multiple genders in fiction and that's important to them.

NGL, I'm aegosexual when it comes to certain written content featuring anthropomorphic characters.

Well, I won't really get this achievement. Some aliens are just too cute:

Attraction is easier to understand than identity. For attraction we have an emotional state that motivates a certain behavior (allosexuals tend to have sex for sex' sake).

"Feeling human" seems like gender identity to me... a vague emotion that we cannot get a grasp on, because it does not connect to a specific behavior...

There was a serious aspect of my last nonsense post. Shouldn't feeling connected to humans at least mean: having more instinctual, reflexive aversion to harm humans (compared to other species)? But I wonder if most humans even feel that!

    FENNEC FOX!

NGL, that's why I became so interested after I saw the different species of aliens when my brother first played Stellaris.

I can't connect blood orange to any aspect of aromanticism but I love it

Where have you tried blood orange ice-cream?

    Just now, whatistheromance said:

    or chocolate

Hmm, what kind of desserts and sweet stuff do you like, then? Or are you not a person with a sweet-tooth?

How interesting! Do you decorate your house/space with other items (like pillows or something) or is it just not a thing to decorate your house in your culture?

    It.....just isn't a thing?
People/families have enough to worry about, let alone, buy expensive posters and wallpaper the walls/paint them, for rooms that may not even be permenant.

Families are also large, with many children, thought that trend seems to be decreasing, in upper-class and middle-class families.

Though when people move into their actual houses, which they built, and now own, people do decorate their walls. With decoration peices on shelves and stuff. Maybe have a themed bedroom.

i have to add onto this by saying a squish is when youre strongly platonically attracted to someone; and develops a platonic equivalence as a crush. in this case they dont experience such strong attractions; only mild platonic love

also that sounds like omniaspec and panaspec. though these two terms are more general i still find it neat

Huh, curious. Then is it possible to experience mild romantic love, and not strong romantic attraction? There must be a label for it.

    11 hours ago, EGGHEAD said:

i suppose that platonic attraction doesn't necessarily have to do with having squishes, idk

By that logic, doesn't it mean that romantic attraction has nothing to do with having crushes?

To my understanding, squishes are (specific) people towards which you experience strong platonic attraction.

Mint choc chip would be good for demiromantics - aromantic until you find the concentrated chocolate chips that slowly melt/warm up to you.

    Sounds great :D!

I'm glad other people in this thread like mint :)

Also blood orange is pretty underrated.

    Blood orange?

My favourite flavour would have to be Vanilla. But other flavours, like chocolate, mint chocolate chip, and dark chocolate are good too!

I like Baskin Robbins’ Love Potion #31. I also liked their blueberry flavoured ice-cream, can’t remember which one it was.

Butterscotch is good, and so is pistachio.

You can’t go wrong with kulfi!

  11. Honestly? I don’t know.

    Water. Hot chocolate? A mojito?

Maybe coffee sometimes? A black coffee, sometimes.

    7UP?

    Lemonade?

Tang? Specifically the lemon and mint flavour. Or lemon and pepper.

    Library technician? Do elaborate!

Rubber plants, heard of those. What makes them so different from other plants, again? Why are they called rubber plants?

Are you alright? Near-drowning victim? How, and why?
