    I'm panicking because friend A asked me how I'd react if friend B asked me out and insisted a lot and now I'm scared that friend A actually knows something and wanted to test me and that friend B actually likes me whereas they already know I'm aro and that I get scared of people liking me

    Help! My friend just texted me saying my 'crush' knows I like them. I'm still figuring it out but I am like 85% sure it's an aesthetic crush (whatever that's called) Idk what to say back! I'm scared.

      Well... You should maybe clarify things ? Explain to your friend that you don't like them that way, and look at what they answer. If they directly tell to your "crush" that they have false informations, then it's perfect for you

    The way (some) ppl in the aro community will talk about those in toxic & abusive relationships is incredibly disturbing and extremely invalidating as someone who was previously in a toxic relationship and is still arospec. Plus the constant "bragging" of "I'm aro therefore I'm immune to (all) abuse!" which is an extremely privlidged position to hold.

      Same thing for me. I'm aro, I won't get myself in a toxic relationship. However I did go through really toxic friendships, never realized it, and and decide to accept everything that the person could do... Because they were a friend

      It feels good if we consider ourselves as "immune", but your right, it's not true at all... Any type of relationship could be like that, and sometimes it's really hard to keep yourself away from them.

    I just realized that I'm NBA. That's so cool. I've always thought that I missed the AAA by being non binary, but now that I discovered that I could actually be a  Non Binary Aromantic, I've found my way.

Like excuse me? How do you know. And then this other guy starts asking me if marvel characters were hot. People don’t understand that people can be attractive without me being attracted to them.
