oh man, get this.  i got airpods for christmas.  my dad warned me to be careful, like not to put them in while walking over a grate or anything.  so on december 30th, i'm standing on the sidewalk waiting for the light to change, it's starting to rain, so i put my hood up, which causes one airpod to fly out onto the street and get run over.  i don't think that was me being careless, that was just bad luck!  anyway, my dad very generously got me a new pair and i've kept them safe .
