Just got outed in class thatni was gay (I'm not, but since this girl has never seen me with anyone they just assumed) so to kinda defend myself I said I wasn't interested in anyone. SO she shouted "so your that" -pauses and looks at phone typing fast- "Aromantic?! You heartless f***er!" Nice way to start the morning, and I'm just about ready to punt myself into a wall.

*mildly nsfw* guys i'm cursed. ok so last month i was supposed to have these guys over for a threesome and got ghosted (we got as far as agreeing on a day--last thing i said was a time, no response). then a platonic date to a concert ghosted me (i had an amazing time anyway, i usually go alone). and finally this guy and i had actually agreed to meet at this bar tonight (hookup implied) and he stood me up. i hope it's true that things come in threes and not more.

Listen to love songs in the genre of music you like the least. Seriously. All this week I've been hearing country music on the pa at my current job (last day today thank God!) Easily half of it is love songs of some type, and each time it's like "I'm so not into this." Any remaining doubts I may have had about being aro have been put to rest for good.

Hi! I'm new here and figuring stuff out! I am 14 (sorry for sharing that if I'm not supposed to but it's important) I have never had a crush, am NOT interested in dating, and relationships just confuse me. I just don't understand how anyone could feel that way. I know that this is for aromantic people but I also have never felt any sexual feeling towards anyone before. I don't know if I'm just too young, as most people I know tell me that, or if I could be aroace? This is dumb but I felt the need to say it

I didn't have any interest in girlfriends or dating either when I was your age. And that has not changed much over the last 28 years, however much I may have tried to convince myself otherwise. I say if 14 isn't too young to know you're gay, bi or straight, then it isn't too young to know you're aroace.

My friend is feeling bad that her boyfriend is not well and doesn't want to get help. He's saying it's just part of his personality. I don't think he's being reasonable at all, even things that are part of ones personality can be addressed in ways that help you cope with them.
