  1. The way (some) ppl in the aro community will talk about those in toxic & abusive relationships is incredibly disturbing and extremely invalidating as someone who was previously in a toxic relationship and is still arospec. Plus the constant "bragging" of "I'm aro therefore I'm immune to (all) abuse!" which is an extremely privlidged position to hold.

It feels good if we consider ourselves as "immune", but your right, it's not true at all... Any type of relationship could be like that, and sometimes it's really hard to keep yourself away from them.

@Atypique Nobody is immune to abuse in the end that's what makes it messed up. Like what about all the aros who are in abusive situations with family who cannot escape? Does that mean it's not "real abuse" if it's done to an aro? The ace community is spreading stuff like that too which super disturbing if you know what the ace community was originally about.

Also some aros laughing at those who cannot escape abuseive relationships calling them "love obcessed idiots who couldn't tell the difference bc they're stupid" yet laugh at those who have also escaped?? like make it make sense.
