Hi! I’m a teenager identifying as aromantic allosexual! I came across a book with an aromantic character about two months ago and had a whole crazy revelation realizing I was aromantic. I’m also romance favorable, which made questioning really confusing at first. For me, romance favorable means I’m ok being in “romantic” relationships but I don’t actively want/try to be in one, and I still love reading romance novels (though that may be because they’re the only books with emotion-driven plots. Curse you, amanormativity!) I don’t know anyone in real life who’s aro, so I’m excited to join here!

    heyyy welcome!

  3. children seem like a a hassle to even just supervise (i've watched over 10yr olds, and 1yr olds, and maybe younger ages idk, annoying to find entertainment for them)

not to mention caring for one for about 18 years: feeding, bathing (when needed), getting a roof over their heads, and a normal education

at the same time i feel guilty that i wont pass on anything to a next generation

i wanna be a parent, but not be a parent, and since that's impossible idk what else to say

I’m not on AVEN, but that might be a good place? It’s for aspecs but from what I’ve seen, there’s a lot of allo acespecs who would’ve probably thought about romantic attraction more in-depth than allo-allos? But other than that idk, sorry

AVEN has alloromantics, tho they aren't all straight so~

Anyone know a good place to talk to alloromantic people? As a questioning aro-spec, I have a few questions about romanticism, and I'm looking for a safe place to ask them.

If anyone knows of forums, discords, etc. that I can go to that would be appreciated! (Preferably something I won't need to make an account for.)

Chances are, your irl friends are alloromantic so maybe ask them?

idk, does anyone else also get this? or is it a me being oblivious thing?

i think it's more like the expression that the eyes give out. Like a specific look there is. Like, how do you explain like when you see someone you truly love, it's like their eyes light up n stuff

I've spent way too much time analyzing fictional characters over the looks of their eyes and basic actions, i realize
