  1. ideas:

    - On valentine's day, we honour it like some holy day. Not because love and romance, but rather a symbol of rebellion against romance

    - Green is our color! We use it in building designs, holy grail covers, etc.

    • Actually, fuck it. We use the whole aromantic flag color palette, but the main color is green

    - We forge our own media. Not indoctrination bullshit, but we make movies/tv shows highlighting aro characters first. Challenge the ways of romance.

    - We have alliances formed with the Asexual religion (whatever that may be.)

  2. sometimes i wonder whether it was a good idea to take math at 1 higher grade level

but then i remember that gr11 math is the last math credit i need for a highschool diploma, so i'll finish the math faster :D

i mean tbh it's hard socially being the youngest student in the class, but the math ain't hard. my teacher is good at her job so i actually know shit

but sometimes i wonder how ppl in my grade react to it

some ppl have asked whether im gifted (im not) and others just asked if i was fast-tracking (which, i learned last year, is the socially appropriate term for what im doing rn)

sounds incredible i think all teachers should be like this

i mean, tbh she tells us stories of people who've had fingers cut off and pieces of wood shooting out of saws into their body (apparently wood can be a strong bullet material if it goes fast enough)

i get to listen to stories of injury every day, which is certainly the best experience ever

Since the 60’s, women have had the freedom in Western countries to be as free sexually as they wanted to. Religious dogmas did not have any effect on liberated women, and contraceptives and abortion made the consequences of sexual freedom almost insignificant.

im pretty sure religion is the birth of the notion of "no sex before marriage" which people do to this day, and not entirely on free will

oh yeah btw not everyone has good sex ed and it's a super stigmatized thing to know what birth control is, and what abortions are

(also, a fun fact: Roe v Wade was overturned in america, basically restricting abortion access in like a lot of US states)

other than that i have no idea wtf ur talking about

i tend to interact with women/girls a lot bc im personally very comfi with them, most of them are straight (like a solid 99% of the time i've never heard anyone say they prefer the touch of a woman over a man)

unless im being biased here but i'm led to believe that if you enjoy intercourse with women (as a woman) then you are defo not straight

  8. im not old or anything but the thing that most people don't know is, i have given it time. so much time, that i consistently question how much time is needed to give for romance/sexual attraction to happen

i get it a lot from adults and older figures (including those i look up to), which kinda makes me think like how do they know? how would they understand that i literally go insane most days because i think to myself "what if one day i fall in love? just gotta wait for it" and i've been waiting 15 years and im noticing people that r like 10 years old having crushes n stuff

like, when i was 10 i was thinking about minions and roleplaying, not how to find a bf

mannn you gotta love being a highschool student /s

but then again, highschool is great for many things other than romance :)

  9. i think it's more of a reality that you didn't really have the words to describe

i do embrace change in my daily life as a whole, but is my aroace identity a change?

i mean, personally, it's a very mixed question, because i feel like a lot has changed since i discovered my labels, but the labels were kinda meant to be, so it's a bit realistic?

i think for most the maximum that could change is probably the outlook on life, but that's basically it

  10. entirely possible.

some time ago, i'd honestly pick the prettiest (and aesthically attractive) guy, moon over him obsessively, and just have a huge interest in what he was doing, all the time.

now that i'm older and more educated, i realize that half of those crushes were me trying to imitate crushes based purely on movie tropes and suchlike, i also would've never dated any of them in hindsight as well

but it is possible you had said crush, or you could've not.

language is quite subjective, and from what I know (and according to my research) crushes feel different to everyone. there are elements of similarity, but it's always somewhat of a personal feeling regardless. surprisingly, there are no rules as to how you go about it, it's just feelings
