I'm actually (possibly) the opposite, I'm a sexual aromantic, and I always thought sex and romance were interchangeable, and that no one could want one separate from the other, and that sexual attraction and romantic attraction was just all together, so it was very weird when I began questioning my romantic orientation. I've not told anyone, solely because I don't like talking about my sexuality besides jokes with others and because pretty much no one would understand what Aromantic is, or how I can not love romantically but want sex, and how I've always wanted to get married and have children and I've been wanting affection from a girl. I can see how annoying it could be from the opposite end.
