      But why does being married or having a partner correlated with success? Doesn't that imply that aromantics can't be successful?

      No, it doesn't (look at the largely successful Blue Phoenix!), but most allos don't understand this, so I read between the lines of their questions in a way that cheers me up :P 

      I mean, I generally reserve the right to construe anything that's told to me in the way that makes me feel the best. Is it bad?

      And I agree, the fact that someone is dating or married, is not the indicator of success. An unhappy marriage isn't and achievement. And also physical attractiveness has nothing to do with relationships? And why only in the case of women?
