I haaate CC sometimes [rant]

I absolutely hate closed captioning at times. I'm watching this video and the one guy goes, 'say something in Italian' and then the CC goes (speaking foreign language). The original guy goes 'aw, what does that mean?' and the second guy goes 'look it up,' then referring to camera, the CC goes (whispering) look it up. You didn't give me what to look up. I know whoever does that is probably vastly underpaid, but come on.

Rant over. Any similar gripes?

Oh I remember watching a period drama with a friend and someone was speaking Welsh. The subtitles contained the actual Welsh words for about three sentences and then the cc read ‘[continues speaking in Welsh]’

So while that person was definitely not getting paid enough, I still found it funny.
