I used to feel attraction but now I don’t?

So when I was younger I used to feel sexual attraction to people but as I’ve gotten older and older it fades away. It could be that I haven’t met anyone I liked for a long time but now, no matter how amazing or attractive a person is, it doesn’t matter to me. All the asexual people I’ve met say they’ve never felt it, so is it too daikon for me to say I am one? I can appreciate a person’a good qualities and appearance and all, but I no longer care about sex, whatsoever.

I'm 42 and recently discovered aromanticism. It took some time to process sure, but it was pretty easy to figure out. As for sexuality, I've always experienced sexual attraction and desire. But that's been fading over the last year or so. It's not for lack of libido or virility, I just don't feel into it anymore. I figure two things are happening. 1. After a lifetime of frustration my mind is just noping out. 2. My brain is just ready to devote that energy to other things. 

I think it also has to do with my getting deeply into Yoga practice and esotericism. The more I experience higher levels of consciousness, the more satisfying animal desires like sex just seems asinine. Porn feels particularly sullying.

That's my experience anyway.

Loss of attraction is a common thing, or at least it was in my case 🙋‍♀️ I felt romantic attraction at some point in my life when I was 13 and never again have I experienced it. I imagine sexual attraction can't be too different 🤷‍♀️

you might be Erassexual, or Caedsexual if it's becuase of trauma
