Im not 100% sure bc i feel sexual attraction but ive never had any romantic experiences and it confuses me bc i love the idea of romance for myself I convinced myself and that ill meet someone nice and we'll treat each other like any typical couple. novels, manga, etc they influenced my infatuation w romance but when I imagine it on me its gross and cringe and I don't want it, but maybe its just a result of my insecurities and I just feel that I don't deserve love pls help:<

maybe your on the gray aro spectrum or ad aro who is't repulsed by romance, my advice wikipedia is more helpful the you would think with definition for terms try looking up aro identities and seeing is something hits corect.

There are quite a lot of aro people who like the idea of romance in abstract but not when it involves them. That might apply to you.

Also your sexual attraction doesn't need to matter here. I love me some fucking and am still aro.

I would advise you to work on understanding and removing those insecurities though. If your attitude is that you feel you don't deserve love that does not sound good whether or not you are aro.

My advice would be to take your time figuring things out - there's no rush to figure things out.
