Can you become aro?

So I've never really been able to trust people due to my past experiences with relationships and other things I wont go Into (I also feel like I'm probably asexual too) and I cant see myself ever having a relationship now or ever in the future. I never relate to love songs and I dont understand people when they say all these things about loving someone in a relationship way but the thing is I question myself if I was born like this or if I just dont like relationships because of my experiences with them. Can you become aromantic or do you have to be norm aromantic?

As far as I know you can still identify as aro even if the reason for your aroness is because of past experiences. This might not apply to you but there is a label called caedromantic. Wiki explanation bc I can’t explain well

Personnaly I think I am born aromantic, and for what you say you could have to. But maybe you became,  who knows. It is possible I think.
