I kind of get this? Though, maybe in a completely different way. I don't label my sexuality anymore, but sometimes I call myself gay or multisexual because I do feel sexual attractions towards lot's of genders, and because I'm non-binary it would be gay for me to feel attraction towards any type of gender. But, I feel sexual attraction more sharply towards men and non-binary people who were raised as men, and there have been times where because of my often slow response of attraction towards women and non-binary people who were raised as women, I feel this need to overcompensate even towards myself to find random women or (not to use gendered language) afab non-binary people hot.

I just believe that at the end of the day, none of us have the right to shame each other, and there's never a greater or lesser evil when it comes to this. Our existences, both aspec and non-aspec, are very complex and deserve respect, each of their own - and it shouldn't be tolerated when someone (regardless of whoever they are) turn their experience of something into an excuse to shame another person. I am not saying people don't have the right to talk about how romance and sex has negatively affected them. Sometimes it's easy to become mad at the world and at random people because of how saturated romance and sex is in multiple cultures. But, it shouldn't be excused if someone takes that anger out and utilizes it as shame.

And the "cringe culture" bit is straight on the nail, it makes no sense to me.

Although I know I don't get crushes on fictional characters, I do sometimes fantasize having relationships with them because of the unattainability; though, sometimes my fantasizations don't really last long. I do hate it when people think that it's "weird" for others to have actual crushes on fictional characters (there are queer people who say it's "weird" but many times it's been non-queer people who have said that around me about queer people having crushes on characters, but then the same people that think it's "bad" can call their favorite character hot???). It isn't weird, and putting complex attractions and orientations aside, to me I feel like if someone really cares for a fictional character in that way that only shows how well that character was written, or, at the bare minimum it shows how well that character has touched at least one person's heart. I support fictos and aegos, not only because I do have things in common with those identities, but also simply because they exist and deserve respect anyway.

(also quick question how do you put up single status updates? I haven't been able to figure out how to post those at all ^^')
