AroAcedragon15 Posted December 28, 2023 Share Posted December 28, 2023 do i need a gender identity? gender feels complex. i don't rlly care what im perceived as and i dont really prefer to be perceived as a boy rather than a girl or vice versa. i hate my chest and having a period. as for pronouns he/him is wrong and she/her fits i guess and they/them does too. i can't find a label that really clicks. any thoughts? 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But having no gender, agender, is a gender identity. I know there's a lot of pressure to have labeled identities (at least I feel there is), but gender is such a personal, complex experience that the concept of labeling oneself and having defined identities certainly won't appeal to everyone.
